I'm so glad it was happy! Although I don't really like the brief flash-forward since it made the ending a little bitter sweet, it did reflect the reality of life and love which in its own way was very meaningful... made me tear up a little too...
Overall, I loved it! 😊
(HHI basically hallucinated the future in way when she was still sick... but that's the romanticism of drama for you 😆)
I'm still wondering how much knowledge she retained after she chose to forget her past lives. Clearly she still has some of the skills she's learned in all her lives...
Soonyung Micro was the slush fund the chairman prepared for JDJ. The total amount is around 700M won. Before JDJ died, he donated his entire inheritance (which I assume came from the slush fund since the will left him nothing). This means the slush fund from SoonYung Micro was already used up right?
So how could there still be money for YHW to collect? It also amounted to 700M won I believe.
I really think it's a plot hole. Otherwise, we'd have to think of the whole drama as a dream which they hint multiple times is not the case.
the ending ... if they had the same face , was everyone ignoring that ?? the prosocutor ? the family ?? i dont…
Regarding why no one recognizes that they both have the same face, I have 2 theories:
1) Everyone has a form of face blindness regarding JDJ. Despite YHW looking exactly like JDJ, they cannot recognize the fact in their mind. Kinda like Clark Kent taking off glasses and becoming Superman. No one believes it is possible so they subconsciously recognize the two as having different faces. Obviously, this theory has a lot of holes but hey it is a drama that follows drama logic.
2) As viewers, we see YHW and JDJ having the same face because they are played by the same actor. But in the universe of the drama, perhaps they have different faces. We see JDJ and YHW with the same face in order to recognize them as actually being the same person. But in the eyes of everyone else in the drama, they look completely different.
I'm curious about one thing in the ending, now that he is managing Soonyung Group how much money does he have? As JDJ, he donated all the money he inherited and then obtained managerial rights in the company. So technically he was practically broke besides becoming the company's new owner right?
As YHW, he once again obtained managerial rights but was practically broke from the start.
Does this mean in regards to net worth, he is about the same as right before he died as JDJ?
Of course, this does not include the net worth of his family and connections as JDJ but still...
I am curious as to how wealthy he became in the end.
So my theory is that there's is a sort of time loop. YHW's timeline has always been consistent. Everything he experienced as JDJ was always going to happen. It is just his memories of certain events had been altered to maintain the current reality.
This is why he has no memories of JDJ before he transmigrates to the past. That, and his own guilt caused him to block all memories related to JDJ. But also due to the timeline needing to maintain itself, memories of certain events (like those related to his mother's death and the sequence of tragedies in his own family) have also been altered. It is only when he experiences them first hand as JDJ that he witnesses the how they truly unfolded.

Kinda bummed they never delved deeper into the similarities between YHW and JDJ in the end... The Miracle Investor even asked him point blank for saying the same thing JDJ always said but they just skipped past it.
Also, JDJ always used YHY's initials when he signed things. They should've brought that up in the end. All that talk about where JDJ came from, how he knows the future... and they never circle back to it in the end?! Bummer...
This definitely needed an epilogue. One extra episode...
I am fairly confident we will get a happy ending. I find most Kdramas like this end happily. Unless the writers are batshit crazy and are purposefully trying to commit career suicide...
Dude i also thought the same thing becose tht way she cn find evidence and make sure these to get the punishment.
Maybe she does lose it for a while but then it comes back after seeing a trigger (baby ultrasound?) and then she hides that her memory is back in order to get rid of the bad guys
great way to tie it all together
Definitely a HE considering they were able to grow old together but in depicting the reality of life and love, it feels a little sad.
Which is why just that scene alone made it a bit bitter sweet for me. Without it, it'd be a 100% joyful HE.
Tho this one scene did make this ending more memorable. And it connected well with the rest of the plot.
I'm not crazy about it, but it's still good imo
