About to start the last episode. one thought of how JGW might survive came to mind: the deal he made with DDH's father. Perhaps it is along the lines of ensuring his daughter will live on happily or something... since he himself is now required for that happiness, maybe it created a loophole in the rules of him not allowed to revive someone... 🤔
Finished ep 6. Considering the explanation of Ancient People as scientifically advanced and having modified themselves genetically to become able to survive on sprit energy, I suspect the tree in the house to be one genetically modified to generate spirit energy.
I have three theories regarding FL:
1) She's a descendant of an Ancient Person and an ordinary Human. Making her a hybrid of sorts and that is why she's able to generate spirit energy. Could be a mutation of some sort.
2) Surviving Ancients genetically modified certain people and FL's family is one of those ppl. They were made able to generate spirit energy.
3) FL's family are actually all Ancient People but they've managed to evolve to almost ordinary human beings that don't rely on spirit energy to survive at the cost of their powers.
If she's naturally generating spirit energy it could be the reason why she and her family members have naturally longer lifespans.
But if she was just born with an abundance, won't ML absorbing it technically be shortening her lifespan? 🤔
