I agree with everything except that I'm not satisfied with the ending. Also unsure how Hwal reincarnated when it was said that Bulgasal cannot reincarnate...
Wanted the two leads to be Bulgasals and live happily with their family...
My theory is that when Hwal turned Ok Eul Tae into a Bulgasal 1000 years ago, what was meant to happen was that the soul be returned to him later. He wanted to experience human life to understand the other Bulgasal's (Sang Un's past life) infatuation with humans before returning back to her. Perhaps that's why Ok Eul Tae is only "half-Bulgasal" and has that curse. It was a failsafe to ensure he would take back his soul.
But then Ok Eul Tae attempted a loophole and we end up where we are...
Ofc, Sang Un's past life still continued to hate Hwal for whatever it is he did (maybe killing a village of humans she cared about).
I keep wondering if Zhen Lan will ever turn on Su Mo since they're both in love with the same woman. Doesn't seem likely rn but a possibility nonetheless... does this happen in the novel?
I believe they temporarily break up. Not like an official one but like a huge fight type of breakup. They had already broken up and gotten back together in an earlier episode.

Anyone have another link?
... or he is evil originally and for some reason wanted to side with the enemy?
