Just watched the first few minutes of episode 1 but...
It turns out that the ML is actually an human from ancient times infected by energy from a jade that came from a planet that housed "immortals" and the FL might be his immortal lover's reincarnation?
Is this Sci-Fi or Fantasy? Or is it something similar to The King's Blaze?
I feel like the new Mo Bai isn't exactly AI... Yes, it's processed by a microchip but I think it's more acting more like a pacemaker for the brain. The brain-dead Mo Bai, through the assistance of the chip awoke after Yu Fei's death with all the memories that were stored in the chip. And the new Mo Bai is like a combination of both...
Kinda confusing...
Also, it makes no sense that his body is also superhuman. Perhaps the chip allows the body to ignore its natural limitations but it shouldn't be giving him superhuman abilities if the body wasn't modified. And when he does exceed the limitations (super speed and super strength) it should be damaging to the body...

what does Fan Xian's mother mean when she says there's actually no such thing as True Qi?

I just can't wrap my head against this...
