I'm guessing her status as the Child of Hades revives her. Remember she was unaffected by the pressure of the mountain and she's got a weird cold illness? She's already shown strange elements of her body so maybe this sort of revival is one of them.

Now I see why Sang Sang is the true "Child of Hades." In life, she was the purest and brightest. In death, she is also the darkest. I haven't read the novel but I'm guessing the rationality will eventually be something like: since she was the brightest light, the darkness is most prominent and strongest with her death.
