this is not "an excuse" but more of "an explanation". All people here can say its wrong of him but at the same time we can feel simpathy. how many people you know that lived difficults time that are perfectly fine irl ? not much. and it's known that alcohol addiction is heriditary (means if your parents where addict then you are much likely to develop it too). and if you were talking about his behavior regarding Sand well you can't blame him for having feelings (though I think its more dependency) for Mew and trying to get through it by giving a chance to Sand ... this is just how a lot of heartbreaks works 🤷🏻♀️ you know the saying its easier to go past an old love by finding a new one

So we are half way to the end now and I am still wondering what the writers will decide for their characters : Redemption ? Healing ? or True to themselves until the very end ?
If you want to speculate with me don't hesitate to continue reading ! I will write what I think are the most likely endings to happen to each character.
Top : I think he really fell in love with Mew. Since he clearly missed love from his parents when he was a child, I think he will realize soon how much he is attached to Mew but man it's too late. He will end up still being a play boy, fuckin around, taking drugs and end up completely alone without having someone that will care really for him apart is money or is body.
Mew : I know he is manipulating his friends and Top but we still don't know why and I haven't any clue for now apart maybe a story that could involve Top's business with his mothers in some way ? But that's a complete random thought. Anyway of course I think he will end up alone and will still be friends with Ray and Cheum but no more Boston in the group.
Boston : I truly think by the 2 last episodes that he gained an attachement to Nick (not love but yet there is something he don't want to admit yet). He will not be friends with Mew or Ray anymore. I think Cheum will be his only lasting point of contact in Thailand. He will go to the US and try to pursue his dream as a photographer. I think he will not redeem himself from what he did in Thailand but will try to make a fresh start in the US. I think the end will left open a potential real relationship with Nick where they will try to start anew together.
Nick : He is obsessed with Boston this is not love guys but I think that in the end he will be the only one really understanding him and will really fall for him while still being a bit obsessed. Maybe he will attempt a suicide but Boston will be there and will tell him that he cares for him but don't want any relationship. Then some months after Boston went to the US I think he will go too and we will have an open ending of them possibly ending up together there and trying to build something more stable. I think he will stay friend with Sand too.
Sand & Ray (I'm biased can't differentiate them they go together ❤) : Sand is going to finally end up confessing his real feelings to Ray and will try to get him out of his alcohol problem. They will end up together for a little time before everything explodes due to Ray's issues. They will split but he will still be by Ray's side helping him getting out of his mental issues and addictions. After Ray get better a few years later I think he will realize his feelings for Mew were more dependency than love and he will confess to Sand he teuly loves him then they will be in a lovely relationship traveling around the world living their bestlife and going to festivals. Maybe they will quit Thailand for the UK ? Sand's mom will come see them from time to time. Ray will keep in touch with Mew and Cheum but things will never be the same. Sand will still talk to Nick and eventually Ray will pardon Boston for what he did and they will be in touch though never will be friends as they were.

there are already a bunch of reply below your comment but I will add my touch too if u don't mind 🤣 By now I just think the writers are showing how in a way Boston and Nick deserve each other : both recorded people and even though I agree with you that the fact that Boston have done it don't excuse Nick's action YET the purpose of the writers here is clearly to say "don't do to people what you don't want to happen to yourself" -> Boston recorded Mew and Ray used it against Top to have his way and then used it to destroy Ray and Sand possible beginning of something when he clearly saw they were starting to get deeper with eo. He is pure trash and just wants to fuck up everybody's life just for the fuckin sake of his fun?! And then when he was recorded by Drake's character (don't remember the name) he say's its disguting ?!? Like I laughed hard there. He saw many times Nick roam around his things also during thz episodes and never clearly stated about his privacy. Nick is so obsessed with Boston that I surely think he persuade himself it was normal to do it for the sake of their "lovestory". Remember he told Top he was no better than Boston so he does realize in a way what he does is bad ... To conclude they are the most probable pair that will end up together in the end they are clearly the two that needs the most psychological help (Nick 1st then Boston and ofc Ray comes closely but this man is another subject lol) and suit eo so much - since the cast said no people die (My first thought was Nick was going to die because of suicide and then Boston will realize too late that he did care for him and will be traumatized for life but well seems not happening 🤷🏻♀️)

Personnaly I think most people are like me : they love hating Boston. Let's be honest Neo is doing an incredible job to make us hate on his character with every single action and words. Honestly I also kinda enjoy watching TopMew's storyline but at the same time I can understand people finding them boring. Of course if you compare them with SandRay (the couple everyone wants to protect at all costs and the depth both as couple and characters they have) and BostonNick (their characters are really powerful and as much Ton is a dick still they deserve eo) they are definetly the weakest couple and also in terms of characters as we are still speculating if Mew as another motive or not and Top's character actually is the most "cliché" and the less interesting that doesn't help them I'd qay ...
Yeah EarthMix could have worked but I can't see OffGun here. I don't think it's the kind of show that could suit their pairing at all. To be fairly honest OhmNanon would have been so good for TopMew I swear 😭

i think it's more because he realise how bad it is. You know when someone is addicted to something you don't help them just by saying "don't do it" or trying to prohibit them from doing it when they are with you. This kind of addiction + the mental issues Ray clearly has due to his childhood that must have traumatize him will not cure like that. That's why even his best friends didn't tried to get him out of alcohol. it's better to be here and control that he don't overdo it than prohibiting him. I think actually their screentime is well balanced between all the "couples" (apart from the girls and it's sad we don't see a bit more of them even tough it's a BL and not a GL) I even think that Ray & Boston are the characters that got the most screentime for now 🧐 I think you have this impression because everything revolves in a way around Mew and/or Top.
