Personnaly I think both opinions are valid. But saying this will not look close to reality if he gets his transplant is wrong or maybe it depends of the countries ? I had a friend that could lost the sight of her right eye and she had a cornea transplant and she didnt had to pay for it she just add a compatiblz donor (now her eye is a bit blue) so I do agree that him having his transplant his a good ending and realistic thought I'll say I guess it depends of lots of factors : 1 which is exactly is eye disease 2 the chances of a transplant to work 3 % of chances to find a donor 4 donor of what exactly ? 5 % of chances for the transplant to work. Like if he goes tot1lly blind would that mean the chances to recover are less than if he gets it while he can blurry see at 20% ? I think it would be great enough to show all of that and in the end if its somzthing possible then just him gztting the transplant maybe not directly like showing that he accepts its blindness before gztting his ttansplant is the best and will statisfy both sides ? Yet saying one is more realistic than another I am not very sure of that because in this case all people with strong disease should they just accept they are going to die because they will not have an organ transplant ? Let's be fair - most people not liking this series have watched the japanese version. Personally I didn't watched it bcz I didn't found a free official site where I could watch even though the plot interested me so I am overjoyed with this version of Tay New. To be honest if I had watch the jap version maybe I will have not watched this drama because even if its an adapatation, the core of the storyline will be OBVIOUSLY the same. So either you are not happy bcz its different or because its too similar well if you can't just do as if the other show didn't exist I guess its better to not watch this one as I understand as for myself how it can be hard to dissociate two adapatations of the same thing. That being said. The other peoples not liking it is for "its lake of realism". Like .... have you read the synopsis guys ? Even though I like some actors I will not watch a series for the sake of them and then crucify the work just because I don't like the theme. And the first 2 episodes are only setting the plot. I am pretty sure that they will dig more into "real" human things in upcoming episodes - even though as said above -> read the plot. That being said : Yes Cherry Magic is definetly (as of now) not the best BL out there nor the best BL you can watch right now (Last Twilight is a gem for now I swear) BUT it is definetly a pretty well produced thai show for now and Tay and New are doing there job with the plot For me it deserves an 8 if we compare with the otherly high ranking of BLs this is definetly the less you can out for it.

Honestly I don't understand when I see some comments saying Day doesn't like Mohk but August. Hello ?! Day definitely is falling for Mohk since ep2 - the tension between them is on point on each and every scene you can see every emotion developing. I am not saying Day doesn't liked August. Of course he had a crush on him before starting to become blind so when August comes back into his life of course its comforting for him to get attached to his old feelings when he was still not blind and yes its hard to only forget them when he didn't had any proper closure yet. Also please just think how scary it could mean for him to be anything more with Mohk ! 1- He is his caretaker but do you think having your boyfriend as your caretaker makes sense ? You don't pay your lover to stay with you .... And Mohk needs money so does that mean he will get another job ? So probably they will not see each other as much after that. 2- Mohk is almost the sole person he really trusts. He never shown pity to him and yes Mohk never really forgets that Day is blind in some situation for him to not feel unconfortable yet he is always treating him as any normal person always finding ways for him to do anything that others can do. So imagine if they seperate. Who will be left for Day ? His mom treats him like a mom, he hates his brother for an unknow reason, he can't fully trust August (see at the party), and thought he seems to trust Gee better yet he don't feel confortable sahring everything with her bcz he is afraid she will judge him when Mohk never judge him but always is so understandable. 3- well he never really "saw" him. and he knows him from very short time. what if even thought all of that Mohk is only a good person treating him this way out of duty ? So I think its normal in Day's mind to not fully awknoledge the possibility of his feelings for Mohk. Yet yes there are here and its not the hints that are missing through out the 6 episodes out.

Honestly this show needs to be seen it truly well made and for me there are no wasting scenes as of now everything is top notch from acting to directing to music to cinematography (the choice of colors and angles daaammmnn) as of now I personnally think this is the best BL airing but yeah its a torture now to wait for next episode so ... ahah make your decision now or later ^^
No need to say I have raised my 8.5 for a very good strong start (ep1-2) to a 9.5 (ep3-5) for a spectacular unfolding. I am literaly starving for the next episodes !
I have been able to catch up ep3 to ep5 and daaammn I just have a word : Beautiful. This series trully is very well made ! And I am so impressed with Jimmy's acting it improved so much from Bad Buddy to Vice Versa to now :o And well not needed to say how Sea is very good at making us believe he has impaired vision. To top it of with Aof directing this series is just chief kiss. I thought I already had my top 3 of this year 2023 but damn they are shaking everything !
It was the BL I most anticipated this year and the first two episodes are so promising ! I hope it stays this way ! But I believe in P'Aof. It's a strong 8.5 for now.
