I like the way they wrote BXL but I dunno. I felt like the actress is short on acting. I expected more from the scene with Consort Qiu but she's pretty though.

I've been waiting for this drama to air for so long and it does not disappoint. I quite liked the plot of Fate being their biggest enemy. Shi Ying and Zhu Yan have done actions with good intentions but Fate managed to twist these against them. Can't wait for the other eps to come out.

I watched until the current (ep 10) and all I can say is congratulations to the cast and crew. The story flow is smooth with narrative cohesion. If you know the historical context, you will definitely enjoy more and appreciate the journey of each characters.

First few episodes is really a breath of fresh air. I can't stop from smiling and laughing at Dr. Gu and Xiaoxiao's antics.

Good News. This one got their license today. Broadcast date is near hopefully.

I do believe GYY have a different kind of parenting since his relationship with his own father is also unlike others. It's not direct and verbal. I am crossing my fingers that GYY and the kid (forgot his name) settles their disconnect with each other in the last ep.
I agree with HY x GYY. I would have loved a confrontation between JNZ and HY. HY left GYY to JNZ and saw a broken/beaten down GYY after all these years.

I don't understand the reasoning of the guy who jumped off the cliff with the red flag. It is just a drill. What contribution can he make to his country if he is dead? Logic came out of the window for this scene.

Maybe it's only me, but I feel some disconnect with the scenes of the recent episodes. It's so fast paced with a bunch of missing chunks in between and they only showed some major scenes. I'm so happy Hu Yang appeared again but there was no build up. How they found out it's her is only narrated when GYY and HY met again. There could have been more. I guess they're trying to fit everything in 40 eps.

It's a mood breaker for me and stole the viewers attention. They could have toned it down a bit.

It's really confusing lol. I guess the cheating was due to 720 always doing those exercise for the sake of winning only and not training for a real war.
These scenes:
- Those recruits that GL encountered before arriving 720 was only used for winning Tennis matches.
- The shooting demo only showcased the top shooters.
- The pig scene showed they grew them to win another competition.
- The storage scene showing that there was no real grenade training due to large stock. This also led to some injuries during the exercise later.
- Song Jian She was even berating Lu Pingfan for transporting the newly purchased cannon (not sure what it's called).
720 really need some wake up call and start real training if they want to survive in a real war. However, I don't agree with GL's ways. Suddenly, painting him self as a tragic hero who betrayed his troops for the sake of giving them a lesson. He will aggravate a lot of people esp. in the military where ranks is a big deal. This will affect the morale of the troops. GYY knows the importance of respect. Abrupt changes without thinking of the consequences will make more problems.

Honestly, even with the time jump and every indication that GL is a top notch soldier or even the best in his batch, these are just scene setup driven without actual progression of the plot. I’m not yet convinced of GL as a great soldier. Maybe the next eps will fill this up.

I think 720 is now the star or ace group (still at loss at the terminologies) and are arrogant because they always win. GL wants them to experience defeat because they're too proud to see their own weakness thus not moving forward. About the cheating, maybe because they use highly trained ones for showing off but hide the not so skilled ones and give them menial tasks. Just a guess. But yeah the plot was too fast at this ep.

This drama already have a license to broadcast. This can be aired any time. I think they're trying to get a beneficial schedule like airing during spring festival break so more people can watch. Also, there are a lot of dramas that get new contents a day before the sudden broadcast. I don't know why but it's a trend right now in cent to suddenly air a drama.

This one is really near. I've been seeing a lot of warm up materials. Investment attraction has started. I won't be surprised if this will be aired next week. But, yeah, no official announcements yet.

I read that this one is near broadcast with rumor date of 1.14. Hope it's true.
