Agreed! The only adaption I haven’t seen was the Taiwanese adaption but I totally agree that the Japanese version was the best by far. Even the writing, I think, beat the Korean version. This version looks like it might a more serious take on the story, as in, this seems almost...dark compared to the fluffy Chinese version.

I see what you’re saying. It does seem like some things in the webtoon moved faster than what it seems to in the drama (even though only two episodes are out so far). Like you, I do hope that there will be enough emphasis on character development in the rest of the drama. ...Thank you for sharing your perspective. :)
