Do you think it was maybe because of how the writer wrote the ML, or how the actor portrayed the character?
After you explained it, I think I get what you're saying about the ML actor. I haven't watched much of Yoon Hyun Min's work so I didn't know. I also think some of the writing is a little unsatisfying in this drama, like the character development or something. As for Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter, I steered clear of that lol.
I never realized it was like that, but I will keep this in mind the next time and redirect a person to a subber’s page. For some shows, I do not know who the subber is, so do you have any advice on how to find out?
Read the manga slightly hesitating to start this ..any opinion so far
I haven't read the manga (yet), therefore I don't know how accurate this drama reflects the manga, but this drama is a joy to watch. It's hard waiting for episodes each week, for me. The bickering of the couple, the witty lines, and the delivery by the actors are excellent and hilarious. Even how the production of presenting the story is done in an interesting way; it's not all predictable. It's not too cringy, either. ...That's what I think.
I hate the rival Mangaka now, I know she's got lots of respect for Maria-san and it was played in a light hearted…
For Karibe-san, I think what looks like a step back is actually a little step forward. By him becoming defensive shows how much Aiko has invaded his world up to this point. He said she has crossed the line of just being a stranger… Aiko took it to be a bad thing but this could mean the “Ogre” is seeing Aiko as more than a stranger…more than a coworker, and more so as someone he’s slowly developing feelings for. Which scares him.
