Thanks for the welcome. I'm planning to watch more now too but I would like to recommend The Story of Minglan, watch it whenever you can. My all time favourite.

Opening and ending songs are best too but what interests me the most is the one used for Li Changge's tragic days, to show what she's going through, the tunes are haunting. It is "If You Come Back" by Sa Ding Ding. Her million emotions which she cannot emote herself because her personality does not allow has been done through this song. Every song is perfect though, appropriately used.

I haven't really explored chinese territory when it comes to dramas and the one ting I like about them is their concept of opening and ending themes making them different from kdramas. The songs here can't be skipped, it just draws you in. Re watching is compulsory with dramas which makes a special place in your heart.

Not big into Chinese dramas or historicals but I deeply enjoyed this one, my second historical. The best album I heard recently is from this drama. The songs literally beg you to stay and watch and it starts from opening theme itself.

I read the plot and it sounded cliche but I'm in need of cliches so was going to give it a chance as it has a cohabitation thing going on too. I love cohabitation dramas. But I read the comments and I'm now quite wavered, don't know if I should start it at all. Do you suggest this one or should I go and spend my time on better dramas?
