A quiet drama that stayed with me
“We Are All Trying Here” felt comforting in the most natural way possible. At first I kept wondering how they would carry the story till the end because it felt so simple and quiet, and my brain started making theories about the watch and everything. But somehow the drama just pulls you into everyday life naturally.There isn’t even a single kiss scene, yet the love between them overflowed in every interaction. Honestly, some scenes felt more intimate than actual romance dramas.
The chemistry between Koo Kyo-hwan and Go Youn-jung was amazing — silly, constantly yapping boy meets quiet introvert listener girl. Their dynamic felt so human instead of scripted.
What I loved most was the emotional realism. They supported each other exactly when they needed it most. The “cry for help” line still stays with me.
The drama is very calm with minimal fighting. Sometimes you hear only the voices of the characters and soft background sounds, which made everything feel even more real. The OST was used only when necessary and every track felt soothing. The opening song was beautiful too.
“If you want to run away together, I’ll run away with you.
If you want to live in hiding forever, I’ll hide with you.
I like that.”
One scene that will stay in my head forever is when Dong-man hugs Eun-ah while she’s wearing that oversized sweater. Somehow it felt hotter and more intimate than a kiss scene. Another memorable line was Eun-ah asking, “Are we human beings better?” during the early episodes.
This drama won’t be for people looking for constant action or typical rom-com tropes. But if you love slow slice-of-life stories that quietly heal you while breaking your heart a little, this is a hidden gem.
I genuinely don’t understand why it’s sitting around 8.3 ratings because this was easily a 10/10 for me. While everyone was busy watching bigger trending dramas, this one felt underrated and special.”

Painful, yearning, beautiful.
The First Frost — 10/10I accidentally watched *The First Frost* before *Hidden Love* because I completely forgot the order 😭. I realized it after around 3 episodes, but by then I was already invested, so I decided to just continue.
And honestly… this drama hurt.
The yearning between Sang Yan and Wen Yifan is probably what stayed with me the most. Almost every episode has this feeling of two people who clearly care about each other, but circumstances, trauma, and their own fears keep getting in the way. It never felt like the pain was just there for cheap drama either. You can actually feel how much their past affects the way they approach love.
Wen Yifan especially broke my heart. Watching someone struggle to believe that they deserve to be loved and to have something good without constantly expecting it to disappear was genuinely painful.
And Sang Yan… the way he loves her without constantly forcing her to open up is probably one of my favorite things about their relationship. Their romance is slow, complicated and frustrating, but that's also what made the payoff feel meaningful.
The atmosphere of this drama also fits the story perfectly. Everything feels a little quiet, lonely and melancholic. Even the happy moments somehow have this lingering sadness behind them.
I haven't watched *Hidden Love* yet, so I obviously experienced this story without that background. I'm planning to watch it next, and I'm actually curious how that will change the way I see Sang Yan and the whole story.
This wasn't an easy watch emotionally, but that's probably why it's going to stay with me.

I went into this expecting a thriller, but honestly, I found it more entertaining as a comedy. Some scenes were genuinely funny, although the pacing felt dragged out in places.
Jung Ho-yeon as Sung-ae and Hwang Jung-min as Chief Bum-seok were both good and added to the overall experience. However, the second half was where things got confusing for me. At times, I felt like I was watching without having the full context, and the lack of proper explanations made it difficult to follow everything. The CGI was also pretty rough.
Still, I think the story had potential. With better execution, stronger visuals, and a bigger production budget, this could have been much better.
Overall, it's entertaining enough if you don't take it too seriously. If you're looking for a great thriller, you might be disappointed, but if you just want something to watch for fun, it's decent.
There's also talk of a sequel, so hopefully the next one makes better use of the story's potential.

The zombies were not the reason I stayed
Honestly, I didn’t watch Happiness for the zombies , I watched it for Sae-bom and Yi-hyun, and their chemistry was easily the best part of the drama. Their relationship felt natural and refreshing, especially because there was no unnecessary love triangle or dragged-out romance.The zombie/infection plot was decent and had some interesting moments, but I feel like the story could’ve been better if it explored the outbreak and some of the characters more. The other residents were also pretty interesting, even if some of them were definitely testing my patience.
The OSTs were really good too and fit the atmosphere of the drama nicely.
Overall, the main leads carried this one for me. The chemistry, loyalty, and the way they always had each other’s backs made it worth watching.

Park Eun-bin absolutely stole this drama
“Wonderfools” was chaotic in the best way possible 😭The cast chemistry honestly carried the whole drama for me. Park Eun-bin as Eun Chae-ni was SO GOOD — she perfectly balanced childish chaos, naughty energy, and emotional vulnerability. When Chae-ni learned about her heart condition, the emotional switch in her acting genuinely hit hard.
And the way Cha Eun-woo’s Lee Woon-jung quietly protected her from everyone’s carelessness instead of making it dramatic… those small moments worked really well for me.
The VFX and overall fantasy atmosphere were honestly better than I expected too. The powers looked fun instead of cheap, and the drama fully embraced the weird chaotic energy of its world.
I also liked that at some point I started feeling sympathy even for Ha Won-do’s side. Son Hyun-joo made the villain feel more human instead of just “evil scientist bad.” Though I do think the opposing villain group got nerfed later compared to how threatening they first felt.
And that last teaser with the mad scientist returning? Yeah… they definitely knew people would want more chaos 😭
The story had some uneven parts for me, but the acting, cast chemistry, comedy, emotional moments, and fun atmosphere made it a really memorable watch overall.

A couple I'm really going to miss ❤️
This was such an enjoyable watch! I loved the balance of romance, comedy and fantasy. The drama had a light-hearted charm that made me look forward to every episode.The biggest highlight for me was definitely the main couple. Neo Hou and Lu Yuxiao had such good chemistry! Their sexual tension, playful teasing and little comedic interactions were SO GOOD. Ji Bozai's playful dominance and Ming Yi's hilariously clumsy attempts to get away from him had me smiling and giggling more times than I can count.
I also loved the little doodle-style previews, the opening sequence and the way the drama used small moments to make their relationship even more enjoyable. The opening song is another highlight. Still playing it!
I do have a few complaints, though. The last three episodes felt rushed, and I wish certain conflicts and character developments had been given more time. After hearing about the original novel, I also feel the relationship could have benefited from more depth and some of the heavier emotional and political layers. The drama chose a lighter approach, which I enjoyed, but I can't help wondering what we missed.
And surprisingly, some of the emotional moments hit harder than I expected. I actually cried during one of the final romantic moments.
Overall, I had a wonderful time with this drama. It wasn't perfect, but the chemistry, comedy, music and overall charm made it special.
Going to miss this pair. I wish I could watch them fall for each other all over again!

I fear I was giggling way too much
The confession onward??? Yeah, I was COOKED.The chemistry between Sang Zhi and Duan Jiaxu is actually insane. The flirting, the little looks, the tension, the OSTs… like bro, why am I sitting here smiling at fictional people being in love. Some moments felt genuinely believable and sweet, while others were very much peak drama fantasy, but honestly I didn't even care.
I also really liked the relationship between Sang Zhi and Sang Yan. After watching The First Frost, seeing Sang Yan actually lose his temper was hilarious because I'm so used to him being calm. But at the same time, his reaction made sense. That's his little sister. Zhizhi getting mad at him back was completely fair too.
Not everything worked for me, and some parts definitely felt a little too fictional, but the romance carried this HARD. The chemistry + OSTs + post-confession era alone had me locked in.
Still prefer The First Frost overall, but Hidden Love absolutely deserves its reputation.
