In the drama, the teenage characters are in the same class so they are presumed to have the same middle school age (around 13-14). It's just that Park So-yi's actual age is younger than the character, and Moon Woo-jin's actual age is older than the character. But drama wise -- it's OK.
While waiting for the final two episodes this weekend, you guys might want to consider rewatching episodes 1-10. it helps to understand the context of the story better.
I would like to appreciate the child actress and the two child actors portraying young Jianjian, Ling Xiao and Ziqiu. They are very talented.
Little Jianjian is very active, talkative, cute and pretty at the same time. Her facial expression and body language are phenomenal.
Little Xiao is quiet and introverted, but his acting is also top-notch. His teary eyes in the almost crying scene when her mother left him are also exceptional.
Little Ziqiu might not have the same acting level as the other two young actors but he's very cute and adorable.
So happy to see them still having screentime here and there during flashbacks, even after the older actors took over. :)

It gets better and better on each episode (except ep10 imo). You should continue watching. There's development and redemption for Dahae's character (FL). So far ep 9 is the best episode among all. Looking forward to the final two episodes this weekend.

the pace of ep10 is super fast, i agree. i guess they want to wrap the conclusion of the "dahae staged the car accident and faked her death" within the same episode.
In this drama, I feel the scammer group live like a family and actual bok family live like a individual person…
it's true! and this brings back the fact that before dahae came into the family, ina was literally being neglected by ALL members of the family. poor little girl.

if it were to be a 16 ep drama, they can put more screentime on the side characters, like the teenager romance and triangle (which many are looking forward to, it seem), also background story of the side characters, like grace, the uncle (samchon), gwiju's dad, etc.
