I felt ep 13 was a bit of a letdown compared to eps 11 and 12, but I am still hooked and looking forward for the…
Too many things happened in ep 13. WIth Layla comes into the picture as another villain, and we don't know if Seulgi and his mom ("mama") are actually good or bad. How is the relationship between the Russian team and the Korean team. Who funded them?
So many questions, will it be answered in just one single final episode?
Just a short appreciation comment for Ki So-yu (or Gi So-yoo), the child actress who portrayed the younger version of Yoo Bo-na.
After a quiet 2024, So-yu had a lot of dramas, plus one movie, in 2025. One of her best performances in 2025 was her portrayal of young Ah-Jin in Dear X. The scene when her stepmother tried to kill her in the bathtub, and when she ran upstairs and the stepmother chased her -- her facial expression and dialogue with her stepmother before she threw herself off the second-floor window was a masterpiece.
After that, this year, there was a quiet period when we didn't see her much on screen until this drama, A Bona Fide Killer, aired. She portrayed the young Bo-na (or the Kingfisher). Her character's background in this drama was somewhat similar to her character in Dear X: a very dark childhood experience in an orphanage with many cases of child abuse. The way Bo-na prevented her abuser (the orphanage owner) from getting his inhaler (for his asthma) and left him to die was somewhat similar to Ah-Jin leaving her mom to die after falling off the stairs in Dear X.
I guess So-yu has now specialised in portraying dark child characters as well, and she is very good at it.
Way to go, So-yu. Looking forward to seeing you in your next dramas!
It's been a year and a half since I commented here. :)

Can someone tell me if Seo-hee survived?
If she didn't survive, are they actually allowed to kill a little girl that young? Isn't it a war crime?
So cruel!
Until she decided to leave her (and her husband) for 6 months.
It wasn't her husband's fault to find out. And definitely it's not her daughter's fault that she became an assassin.
And then, she left her daughter (and husband) for 6 months? What kind of mom is she?
My blood boiled due to this bad writing.

And I feel sorry for the husband.
So happy to see Ki So-yu on the screen again (after confirming that it's really her lol).
Is the boy who was abused during Bona's childhood the same child actor who portrays Kim Dami's son in The Great Flood?
And the girl who was abused by her father and was let dangling on the second floor ledge, I remember seeing her somewhere but can't remember.
This drama is so underrated.
