Some might find this drama to be a bit boring. I admit it's quite a slow burn -- but the drama is very beautiful. The acting, the cinematography, the dialogue, and the chemistry between the characters are top-notch. Yes, there's a high possibility of a potential sad ending, but the overall drama is so beautiful.
I love the relationship between Hae and Jeyeon. How she tries to understand him and not barging in when she saw Hae was struggling in pain near the toilet -- instead of hugging him and trying to comfort him, she went back to the table pretending to wait for him as per what he asked. So beautiful.
I also love the brotherhood relationship between Hae and Seok-joo, although they are not really biologically related. I love how they take care of each other like real brothers. I also love how they take care of Nuri, their little sister who is not really their biological sister (not even half sister).
The only one I don't really like is how Chan (Hae's dad) seems to be getting a redemption by being accepted by Nuri and Seok-joo. FGS, he abandoned Nuri and Hae when they were still young! Make no mistakes, I really like Jo Han-chul as an actor, but I really despise the Chan character. I wish Hae would not forgive him until he dies (or whoever dies first).
Yes, in Beauty and Mr Romantic, she abandoned her son (the ML) when he was still a baby. She left the baby in front of her friend's house, and the ML was then raised by her friend.
- Who are the masked men who kidnapped Yi-rang when she was still a child? - Who is Guho, and how is he connected to the kidnappers? What did James mean when he suggested Yi-rang tell Guho the truth?

The 7-year timeskip in episode 6 is quite abrupt, tbh.
We started to see how the romance between Jae-pil and Jong-hui is blossoming. Jong-hui is my favourite character in this drama, and I consider myself a big fan of Shin Ye Eun now.
And then Jong-hui decided to dump Jae-pil because she knew he was the "Giant" Yeong-rye adores. OK, she let him go because she valued her friendship with Yeong-rye more. Lovely friendship between Yeong-rye and Jong-hui.
Then, suddenly, Yeong-rye was just being assaulted by her manager, and Jong-hui had to step in. Yeong-rye had to run, and suddenly the scene fast-forwards 7 years, showing (or implying) that Jae-pil and Yeong-rye are together.
As a fan of Jong-hui's character, I was like... wtf???
How about Yeong-bae and Se-ri? Since there is a 7-year timeskip, does it mean that I won't see Kim Tae-vin and Oh Eun-seo anymore? Their romance is the cutest!
hey i have a doubt, is hae's sister is stepsister or half sister?or is it like hae's father was with her mother…
Nuri doesn't have blood relationship with Hae, they don't even share the same dad. She's not Sunwoo Chan's daughter, she's the daughter of Chan's girlfriend before she met him. For some reason, Nuri was abandoned by her mom and ended up with Chan. And Chan was about to abandon her as well (by putting her into an orphanage) before Hae took Nuri in and raised her.
Finally, I finished watching this drama. The ending is a bit bland, and overall, I always think that the drama is a bit boring. Park Bo Young's acting as both Mi Ji and Mi Rae is exceptional, though. But I still think an 8.7 score is a bit overrated for this.
I don't understand. Is Gu-Ho's father the leader of the masked men who kidnapped 10-year-old Yi-rang? What was his motive in kidnapping the little girl?
- Potential sad ending detected. I love this drama very much anyway and will continue watching. - So the CEO (Seokju's mom) is actually Hae's dad's first love? Not Hae's mom? - I love how the friendship relations between all 4 main leads are being depicted. I love the way Hae and Seokju care for each other like brothers (although they are not biological brothers). I especially love the chemistry between the ML and FL, despite very minimal skinship.

The same mother is also abandoning her child in Beauty and Mr Romantic. But in that drama, it was a son and not a daughter.
