The story doesn't make sense. If the final goal is to carry out the revenge against Seon Yeong, then why just kill her when she summoned her near the end of episode 10? Really doesn't make sense.
Have completed watching episode 12. Overall, a very beautiful drama, with a great cast, great acting not only from the main leads but also the secondary leads and even the child actors. The ending is satisfying and conclusive (compared to the mediocre "My Youth" ending, for example). Beautiful cinematography and OST.
It's definitely underrated, 7.4 is a crime. It should get at least 8.5 or even higher. Don't trust the MDL score.
I said earlier that towards episode 11, the drama becomes more boring. Was expecting a finale on the last episode, but it's just another boring fragments of scenes of slice of life that go nowhere and without any conclusion.
Very disappointed, since the actors are quite good, and the OST and cinematography are top-notch, what a waste. This drama had a good start in the first couple of episodes, but it doesn't finish well.
While the cinematography is still outstanding, I find episode 11 to be a bit boring, especially in the first half. Then we are slapped with a nasty cliffhanger at the end of the episode, without any preview of the next/last episode. Then the last episode's airing is postponed to next week.
They really know how to play with our emotions, lol.
and one more thing his sister right why does she keep saying his father "ajusshi" i mean she is not his…
Nuri is not blood related to Chan (Hae's father). She was the daughter of Chan's ex-girlfriend, who abandoned the little girl and gave her to Chan. Chan then abandoned her as well and gave her to young Hae. At the end, it was young Hae who raised little Nuri.
Imagine two adults (Nuri's biological mom and Hae's father) abandoning her and she ended up being raised by young Hae.
seven years later and we're somehow back at square one, i hope the plot doesn't get too lost cause we started…
I think Sang-cheol will end up together with Jeong-bun and become Su-jin's great stepfather. That is, if Driver Kim (Su-jin's biological father) doesn't block them along the way.
You should watch this drama for: - the friendship between almost every one of the characters in the drama; - the found family -- with new sisters and the kids; and - the in-between "more than friends, but not (yet) dating" relationship, they are so cute.
I have watched episode 8, and I really love this drama so much.
It's not the love triangle (or square, or pentagon or whatever) that matters. It's their FRIENDSHIPS that matter, and they are very beautiful. Not the love or romance.
Not only friendship between Yeong-rye and Jong-hee, but it's also friendship between Yeong-rye and Jae-pil, Jae-pil and Jong-hee, Yeong-rye and Jung-hyun, Yeong-rye and her "sisters" Jeong Bun and Ho Sook, the two Man-oks (Yeong-rye's mom and Jae-pil's mom), among others.
So many recognisable and talented young actresses in this drama.
Kim Tae Yeon (little Aesun in When Life Gives You Tangerines) became the teen version of Seri (the young version was played by Oh Eun-seo in the earlier episodes).
Kim Kyu Na (Se-eun in Hunter with a Scalpel) became the middle schooler version of Yeong Mi.
Lee Chae Yu (little Nuri in My Youth) became Su Jin, the daughter of Yeong Rye's friend who got pregnant by the bus driver/playboy.

If you can see it that way, you will appreciate the drama even more.
IU kissed 3 different actors in her latest drama When Love Gives You Tangerines.
