Not lovers.
However, take note that while there's no romance (so far), the chemistry between the FL and the ML is spectacular. It's difficult to explain, but you will see it yourself when you watch it. :)

Like a great romance chemistry, but without the romance.

Not lovers.
No romance. When you watch the drama you will understand. The FL and the ML are step-siblings because the FL's dad was dating the ML's mom when they were still kids. The ML likes the FL (as sister) but the FL was manipulating him and using him.

Watched the first two episodes and was truly blown away by the acting of Ki So-yu (or Gi So-yoo), the child actress who plays young Ah-jin. I know she's a good actress (watched her since Our Blues, The Good Bad Mother and the recent Confidence Queen), but this Ah-jin character is really on another level. The scene where she blackmailed her stepmother (?) and let herself fall out of the window is intensely insane -- spectacular acting.

Wondering if she received counselling and psychological assistance during the shooting? The character is very, very dark for a child actress her age. Really hoping it won't affect her mentally in real life.

There is no more violence after ep 11.
The violence I described above is at the start of ep 12. :)

This drama had potential, great actors with good acting, but the storyline and writing brought this drama down the drain. A lot of plot holes that do not make sense.

I stopped watching and cannot continue in the last episode when Seon Yeong stabbed the chairman, not only once, twice, but many, many times, with his blood splattered. Does it really have to be so gory?

Shall I continue? It's the last episode!

The story doesn't make sense. If the final goal is to carry out the revenge against Seon Yeong, then why just kill her when she summoned her near the end of episode 10? Really doesn't make sense.

The last episode feels like an anticlimax. But it's still a good and interesting drama overall.

Have completed watching episode 12. Overall, a very beautiful drama, with a great cast, great acting not only from the main leads but also the secondary leads and even the child actors. The ending is satisfying and conclusive (compared to the mediocre "My Youth" ending, for example). Beautiful cinematography and OST.

It's definitely underrated, 7.4 is a crime. It should get at least 8.5 or even higher. Don't trust the MDL score.

I said earlier that towards episode 11, the drama becomes more boring. Was expecting a finale on the last episode, but it's just another boring fragments of scenes of slice of life that go nowhere and without any conclusion.

Very disappointed, since the actors are quite good, and the OST and cinematography are top-notch, what a waste. This drama had a good start in the first couple of episodes, but it doesn't finish well.

Am I crazy if I say that Lee Jae Won's (Kim Jeong Sik) scenes are the best in this K-drama? I swear, I laugh so…
His scene with his lost daughter Su Jin is heartwarming. Especially when they fought for an ice cream bar and decided to split and share it. So cute.

While the cinematography is still outstanding, I find episode 11 to be a bit boring, especially in the first half. Then we are slapped with a nasty cliffhanger at the end of the episode, without any preview of the next/last episode. Then the last episode's airing is postponed to next week.

They really know how to play with our emotions, lol.

and one more thing his sister right why does she keep saying his father "ajusshi" i mean she is not his…
Nuri is not blood related to Chan (Hae's father). She was the daughter of Chan's ex-girlfriend, who abandoned the little girl and gave her to Chan. Chan then abandoned her as well and gave her to young Hae. At the end, it was young Hae who raised little Nuri.

Imagine two adults (Nuri's biological mom and Hae's father) abandoning her and she ended up being raised by young Hae.
