I heard the show Love would not be renewed on Netflix, but LMD Season 4 is still a possibility. Several internet sites have indicated that S4 is not confirmed either way, and some sites have indicated that S4 is in the works for early 2023 release. Meanwhile Viki at Rakuten has a ton of dramas with similar storylines and no ghosts or goblins.

Phoebe isn’t the only screen writer in town…her style of bringing in the bizarre has an attraction for a very limited number of viewers.
For those of us that have followed for 3 seasons…find it hard to believe the ending twist toward the sudden appearance of the occult.
Phoebe can write Hotel de Luna 2 as a separate series from LMD…the pieces don’t fit with the character development.
Give us fan followers some closure for the bizarre cliffhangers…and stop penalizing healthy family relationships and glorifying the cheaters and mistresses.
There’s a lot of new dramas…but I’m hoping someone will pay attention to our need for “normal” and closure….

Not sure why my previous comments didn't appear but I basically expressed that most fans may be in denial...but need closure....and Season 4. Hoping SDM's character is not killed off, but put in limbo near death state, rushed to hospital, spirit guides disappear, has surgery and recovers in ICU and then meets his new baby after he comes out of an induced coma. SYS will be called for a consult as a neuropsychiatrist if SDM has amnesia.
If series 4 gets approved we need more of the badly needed passion and chemistry for a married couple. It would be too cruel to SPY, Ji-A, and newborn baby to leave them fatherless and widowed. SDM stole my heart when he made noodles for SPY's craving...when he couldn't even cook a fried egg at Seo Ban's home.
Better yet it's all somebody's dream and SPY wakes up to SDM telling him she's in labor pains, Grandpa rushes to hospital, and they welcome new Seo baby to the family. It would worthy of watching the antics of SDM being a new Daddy vs playboy image. Series needs to stop with the occult and focus on the real life redemption of 3 strong career women and get rid of ghosts, goblins, death stalkers, grim reapers, displaced ghosts, and shamans.
Thousands of world-wide fans would stop watching if S4 continues to glorify cheating husbands and devious mistresses, and victimizes PY, LSE, and BHR. Even BHR deserves a better role albeit her character brings some needed craziness too.

PS....if Bu Bae's character is replaced., let it be Lee Je Hoon...great actor with beautiful lips. Those hot kissing scenes with SDM and SPY were worth watching the entire series...need to see more... if Season 4.

You're saying what a lot of us (in denial) are hoping won't happen. It would be pointless to kill off SDM who spiked the ratings bringing incredible energy and badly needed chemistry between a married couple. I think most fans are hoping for some type closure without ghosts, goblins, shamans, spirit guides, and grim reapers, also it would cruel to leave SPY, Ji-A and new baby alone. No one understands why SDM was the target of death stalkers, especially since he redeemed himself as an excellent husband, stepfather, and expectant father. He stole my heart getting up to make noodles for SPY's cravings...when he couldn't even cook a fried egg at his brother's house.
This writer/screenplay is loaded with so many twists and turns...that anything is possible. Makes your imagination run wild. For women the plot seems to be further victimizing the 3 strong career women and glorifying devious cheater husbands and mistresses. the acting is on point for all the characters even if they are given crappy roles.
If you're right about the outcome and SDM is killed off or making him a ghost...I won't watch a season 4 if that's a possibility...ratings would plummet and the thousands of world-wide fans would stop viewing. This drama tugs at your heart strings and simultaneously makes you cheer on the 3 main professional women finding happiness....give BHR a better character...albeit she gives resting bitch face a new dimension.

Good analysis of Seo brothers sexuality. Seemed like opposites in style. Didn't mind SDM's fixation on spine tingling screams after being around lackluster NGB. Loved that SPY could let loose and have intense chemistry...think her character is a Leo fire sign if SDM was birthday shopping a month before her due date. The crazy horney grandma made me laugh the crazier she got. Most of us want closure and some semblance of normal. Hae Ryung deserves a better role than becoming a shaman....I liked her better as a self centered "B".

The screen writer has a rather skewed background. Most fans of this show agree with you...that too many ghosts, lost spirits, shamans, grim reapers and spirit guides. Why mess with perfect actors by making them play such obnoxious roles.

I soooooo hope you are right, and you make sense since they were dressed completely different with ambiguous swirly faces. I'm also hoping that it's an imagined dream like state with a dream interpretation that doesn't literally involve death...but new beginnings.

One big disappointment is that the writer seems to ignore just how many people would be impacted if SDM's character is killed off. Hurt the worst is SPY and Ji-A since the are newly weds, expecting a baby soon, and he is providing some semblance of normal for Ji-A. If anything the grim reapers needed to target the cheaters and have Karma collect. Why is he/she hurting the ones that were left vulnerable because of cheating affairs and evil mistresses. Didn't NGB say you "reap" what you sow????? Hopefully a season 4 will bring back faith in family and not glorify mistresses and cheating husbands. Give us some closure and stop the crazy bizarre cliff hangers.

Are you a grim reaper in disguise? Given the bizarre direction the writers are going your imagination aligns with hers/his. fans aren't tuning in for a version of Goblins or occult themes. There are plenty of sci fi dramas to tune into. This writer is going off track like she is running out of steam or throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks. People all over the world, all different age groups, genders and cultures tune in to see the convoluted relationship triangles, and redemption for the wives that were betrayed. So far the mistresses are being painted as victims when they should be the ones stalked by the grim reapers and have Karma collect on their sins.

Well said and framed. The possibility of a spin off or movie would give us avid fans some closure. This time I won't even try to anticipate the next moves...would just drive me crazy. It's time to wrap it up, only because the direction toward more spirits are showcased, than actual earthbound humans.

I'd be happy if they just leave the Seo brothers, their wives, families, new babies ok for closure if there is a season four. We can watch other shows like Goblins etc...if you like that kind of thing. I'm pissed that the writer would mess with the chemistry that SDM and SPY bring to the series....or that she'd disillusion Ji-A if her step dad was removed from their family unit.

I cringe every time A-mi joyfully announces that she's getting married. SYS is obviously still in love with SPY. If SDM did die....SYS would welcome SPY and Ji-A back in a heartbeat IF SPY would EVEN think of going back. This writer makes my imagination go wild...and think of bizarre possible outcomes...LOL

I'm hoping that since Won was trailing around the Seo compound...she knew that the original dream was Ban...not SDM. Hope she literally gives up the "ghost" soul to protect SDM/SPY because she can no longer protect her own child. I don't want Ban or LSE hurt either, but what's up with the Ban/Won wedding scene again???? Hoping it's a dream sequence, and SDM is just fine...or he's awakened from a near death experience. His father is actually a doctor and hopefully SDM will receive surgery and VIP treatment. Will SDM's mother spirit protect her son and grandson....Who was the chocolate eating kid referring to when he indicated that the old man would die???? More questions than answers.

This ending begs for a fourth season....why would any writer kill off the main reason most people tune in for. Breaking up a family, killing off a stable husband and father makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. How cute was it to watch him and his Dad use the foot massager to make noodles for SPY? I screamed at the tv watching him get hit on the head while shopping for his beautiful wife. Hopefully it was only a dream or that he may be injured but saved by his own guardian angels.

Keep the theme of strong women, don't glorify the cheaters and their mistresses, and promote strong family bonds through their characters. it's a waste of time to keep adding in shamans, and grim reapers and lost ghost spirits. I'd take a scene where SPY gives birth at the same moment that SDM wakes up from a near death experience and they recuperate together in the same hospital with a healthy baby DangDang...just as long as he's not brought back as a ghost spirit.

Praying for some degree of normalcy and that none of the kids get hurt, and that Ji-A, U-Ram and sister get to experience great lives. Hope Ji-A gets to meet her sibling and her stepdad SDM is

Wondering if the grim reapers were part of Seo Ban's dream that Dong Mt" jokingly" purchased, who will pay the ultimate price? The reapers seemed to be absorbed into his secretary and assistant. They were coming to "collect" some unsettled souls. Also wonder if Won will exchange her soul to protect Seo Ban in exchange for a healthy baby or protect SPY's baby...her soul refuses to leave for the spirit world even thought she was expelled from BHR. Whatever...they have some unfinished business on earth.

With all the secrecy surrounding him...ya never know. LSE doesn't seem to mind though...their honeymoon ear picking session was bizarre....reminded me of primate grooming.

Hmmmmm.....confusing to say the least. Is Won's spirit trying to find a new body to take over...and why did she follow Seo Ban? Did LSE miscarry? Why are the grim reapers stalking SDM...or his secretary and assistant? Maybe they are killing off characters if there is no next season? Too many possible scenarios to conclude tomorrow. Having a hard time trying to figure out what is dreamscape imagination cliffhangers and what is reality. If not a season 4...then a spinoff extension. Still no explanation for the chocolate eating baby ghost....
Loved Ji-a"s reaction to news of a sibling. Please leave the SDM/SPY family unit intact...we need at least one "normal" happy ending....that makes sense...
