Proof That Not Every BL Deserves the Hype
This series… omg 🙄🙄 I honestly feel like I wasted my time for nothing. I was skipping through entire scenes because it was just boring. Cringe. Awkward. Painfully so 😬
When I watch a BL series, I usually feel butterflies in my stomach. I cover my face, blush during kisses, and get emotionally invested in the characters. And what did we get here? Nothing.Absolutely nothing.
I felt no emotions while watching this—no connection, no spark, no feelings at all. I didn’t feel sorry for the characters, didn’t feel sad or angry, didn’t get teary even once. There was zero chemistry. The kisses were awkward, the NC scenes were cringe, and everything felt forced rather than natural.
The plot tried to be about everything and anything at the same time, yet somehow ended up being about nothing. Overused ideas mixed with random cringe moments. Even the side couples didn’t fit into the story—if we can even call it a story.
As for the acting… the main leads didn’t deliver their performances the way they should have. There was no emotional depth, no convincing portrayal that could pull me in.
For me personally, this series just didn’t click at all. 3/10, and that’s me still trying to give something for the actors’ effort. That’s all I can do.
