I just watched the uncut version as well, and the editing this episode is much better than it was in episode 1. The scenes they cut in this episode add more to the story obviously, but even when they were cut, it didn't seem like a major portion of the story was missing.
The scenes they cut do help us understand the characters better though, and they also add more intrigue to the plot.

This was another cute episode, like it was goofy and funny in the best way possible! And I'm so impressed with all the actors, I know Neo can pull off comedy well, but I'm super impressed with Off, Gun and especially Aungpao! His comedic timing is on point and he holds his own next to any actor he shares the screen with!

It kind of set my benchmark for bromance and mystery in the same series ever since I first saw it.

This is a sweet enough drama, but every single person who's in a position of power except for Jegal is so damn frustrating!!
It's understandable why the athletes are reluctant to open up to him, and why they sometimes lash out, that's the point, they're hurting, but damn, every adult in that athletic village can at least try to be understanding!
There's not one adult there who isn't a jerk, including the person who is supposedly there to carry out the athletes best interests but doesn't behave anything like that!!

Both the couples were in I'm Tee, Me Too, and that's on a rerun now, it all feels so familiar and cozy!! It makes me smile, it's just awesome 😅😊

The difference in humour is a very interesting thing. I watch regional shows that run on television and don't get the humour because I've become more accustomed to the comedy that works in international media!

Honestly though, with Cooking Crush starting yesterday, and Cherry Magic starting in about 2 weeks, it reminds me of the point where Theory of Love aired, and it was later followed by Dark Blue Kiss.
And I remember quite distinctly that after SOTUS, these were the two GMMTV series I watched, and I remember loving them both 😅

I guess it just reminds me of when I first started watching dramas and totally loving it, I don't know, I'm just nostalgic and sentimental 😅🙈

I'm just realising how much I missed Tay and New, Dark Blue Kiss feels like an eternity ago!! The chemistry still stands, and just those 3 minutes and 30 seconds made me feel all happy!!

It was a very nice beginning to what I'm hoping turns into a very nice series. It reminded me quite a bit of Fish Upon The Sky, and since that is one of my favourites, I wouldn't be surprised if Cooking Crush turns into one as well.

It definitely has it's potential, the humour may be a little unfamiliar, but I don't know if it's because I've watched a lot of Thai series' that display this kind of comedy and production that I was unfazed by it, and quite enjoyed it 😅

The actors are doing a wonderful job as usual, and Aungpao is seriously good! I was worried if he would be able to display his acting skills in a *sitcom* type show since he's a first time actor, but I had nothing to be worried about. Plus, during the intro credits, you can see his time on Project Alpha came in handy, he has some moves 😂

There's something that I can't quite touch upon here that makes me excited for the next episode, I know it's likely that it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I like it. It's always great to see Off and Gun showcase that magic of theirs

That intro is pure crack, I love it!

Besides these, there were small scenes that the editing benefited from more than anything, like some reaction shots, an extension of a few seconds to show what the characters feel, stuff like that.

The first one was the scene in the cafeteria, with the flirting between Fire and Dynamite. There is a scene after where Ten recognises Prem, from their first meeting at the market. They share this eye contact moment and you can tell that Ten is attracted to Prem.
You also see that the meatball guy is Ten's friend, and the conversation they have is important to Ten's backstory and personality.

The second scene is the one before Prem gets called into the professor's office, when he cooks the Tom Kha Gai for his grandmother and sister. This one is important in establishing Prem's personality, and the fact that Ten enjoying the food he made actually gave him confidence to cook it for the person who introduced him to cooking. It's a small moment, but it packs quite the emotional punch.

I would have loved to see Mark in this role as well, he's got good chemistry with Neo and he brings a certain panache to each of his characters but yes, understandably he's busy with other roles, and good for him!
Aungpao is also pretty good, he's playing Dynamite in a less exaggerated version compared to the teaser trailer, and it gives a different feel to his and Fire's relationship 😊

Huh. I thought the editing was weird and felt a little choppy at times, turns out I watched the cut version!

I enjoyed it though, Off and Gun have such a different dynamic here compared to their other series' together and it's really sweet.

What was that ending?! How many storeys were there in that building and they just jumped?!

I find it hilarious how the timer went way past 3 minutes and yet the speeches continued 😂
I know we've got to suspend reality to watch this show, but damn! After every unrealistic storyline, this is the one that bothered me the most 😂

If they hadn't mentioned Da Mi in episode 16, I would have totally forgotten that this was supposed to be about her. Not K vs Do Hyeok 😂

What in the convoluted nonsense am I even watching?

I know K probably used another deepfake video to make it look like he got plastic surgery to look like Do Hyeok, but I'm going to imagine that he got plastic surgery to look like Do Hyeok and then another one to look like Matthew 😂
