You improve upon the source material if you can! You should always try to!

Is the plot a thinly veiled excuse to have Boom cry almost every episode? >>> that became Akin's personality in…
Lol I'm a little pissed about them having Akin literally trashed to the floor and then have him pick himself up again every episode 😅

Don't know what they'll do with the sequel, but please, no more of Akin crying

I share your view on Seok Jin. That's why I really wanted him to win last time. And I agree with you that So Hee…
Seok Jin's win last season was so well deserved and honestly, Hyun Gyu, So Hee and 7High remind me of him.
Hyun Gyu mostly because he spits facts like Seok Jin did all of last season, but 7High, Seo Hee and Seok Jin..
I kind of see it honestly. They're all good at playing individual games, they stick by their alliances and are not afraid to step on people's toes but also don't attract too much attention to themselves.
Ji Yeong.. yeah I can see her in the finals and I would like to see her in the finals. She does have a gameplay that's very similar to Justin's and ugh- I'm still a little upset about his elimination 😅

As far as Kyuhyun and Hyun Joon.. Kyuhyun has kind of been coasting along, I don't know how lol. And Hyun Joon.. I feel for him but I feel like he's lost the allegience of almost everyone in the group, much like Hyun Gyu. He could still reach the finals of course, but honestly the situation after episode 9 is just.. I honestly cannot predict anything 😅🤣

Finally, my thoughts on who I think will win.. or more so who I want to win 😅

I've watched until Justin's elimination, so that leaves eight contestants. I'm just going to talk about the people I think have a good chance at winning.

My top picks right now are So Hee, Hyun Gyu and 7High. Here's why
So Hee is SMART. She is calculated, she can take calculated risks. Hyun Gyu is a master manipulator, he just works the room in a way I can't read. 7High is the dark horse. Haven't seen much of him but what I've seen shows me that he can be smart and ruthless.

I would really like one among the four - So Hee, 7High, Eun Yu and Ji Yeong to win, because.. let's say vibes 😭😂
Hyun Gyu, yes, he does have a high chance at winning (especially since that hidden room clause hasn't kicked in yet, we don't know what it is), but ah! I know that the point is to be smart and manipulate your way into winning, but if I had to choose, I would choose So Hee or 7High, who do what they need to and nothing more.
I don't know, I think it's a case of my values aligning more with theirs than Hyun Gyu's and that's okay! What's his is his and honestly, I'm just excited to see how they play and who wins.
Because at the end of the day all
this is just in the house and it's part of the game

Now spoilers..

JUSTIN!! I was rooting for him from episode 1 but I'm starting to believe all my favourites get eliminated around the same juncture or position.
He was smart and resourceful and he somehow did it all by himself. I don't know if this was his experience, or if it's just me, but I definitely felt like he was alienated by the group to some extent. I'm not going to assume anything because we don't really know what went down there, but from what I watched, it definitely felt like he had to go through all of it alone.
Sure, he had some acquaintances, maybe even friends, but I guess at the end of the day they're all competitors when they're in the house and that came across to him more than any other player. But he could've won. Somehow, in a game that requires building alliances (that break at the drop of a hat in this season), he relied mostly on himself and got that far.
He could've won

So halfway.. more than halfway through and I have some thoughts. This is going to be a bit long so bear with me 😅

First off, I love the fact that all the contestants really are flexing their brains and skills in this season. I love that the players are able to read the game to a tee and play it like champs, or they're able to read other people to a tee and play them into coming out on top.

And honestly, I like it. That's the game, you use your skill, whether it's calculation or manipulation or whatever, to win. Watching it gives me massive anxiety and it's going to take me forever to get through the episodes but I kind of do love watching them play their game.

And I love that they can all play the game, after the first few eliminations where we couldn't see what they could've actually done because they were eliminated that early, every person who was eliminated had a genuine chance to win. As does everyone still on the show, which just makes it so exciting
