Wow these scenes showed more interactions between the leads - we were cheated 😢😢😢😢

From the moment it was announced that the drama dropped from 40 episodes to 33 episodes and the no notice release - I knew this drama was slated to go the way of Rebirth for You and Beauty of Resilience- in both those dramas the episodes were also cut - both started out strong- both with choppy editing- both with obsessed second leads - both with stories going downhill and unnecessary arcs - but I did enjoy them - fast forwarding only for the main leads - I love Ju Jingyi acting - she may not be the best but there’s something special about her that draws people (though she also brings out the envy in others- this is what I attribute the negative energy towards her- otherwise why so hateful to someone you don’t know- you can always move on- don’t watch- when you start a drama you should know who is in the series) - too bad these productions only used her to showcase other actors and did not deliver or develop into what would otherwise be really good dramas - that being said -I still enjoyed this drama even with all the flaws- because didn’t have high expectations due to how SIBA had treated and handled all her other works- with her talent, beauty (not plastic by the way - if she did SIBA would have used that against her already since she has been with them since she started this business- looks change as you grow older - I know mine have) and hard work ethic - I am looking forward to her future works -

About Ju Jingyi acting- this drama was filmed before VOS and when she was still under SIBA - I can’t wait for her upcoming drama - Let’s Fight ( renamed Fated Master and Disciple)

You mean him having the most flowers? 🌺 he has many loyal followers- not just because of his versatile acting - loved him in Legend of Yunxi And TBORP- which brought me back to CDrama- but also his all around personality and resilience- he is not only a great actor - from comedy to serious roles - he doesn’t shy away from “ugly “- see his role in the short film “Brother”- what happened to him at the height of his 10 year career was abominable and would have destroyed a lesser human being - but he is strong and filial- he didn’t let that orchestrated event define his life - he was more concerned for those who supported him - if you knew his perseverance (knee injury; 10 year struggle in acting without backing etc) before his presence and career was devastated on social media then you could not help but support him thru his initial depression to him leading the way to carving out a life beyond the confines of his banning by the Chinese social media- he did not slink away - he did nothing wrong - all claims against were fabricated - as supporters we resonate with him- like he says we are on the same frequency- if you read his insightful movie and book reviews; listen to his music; watch him play sports; listen to him reciting poems; watch his documentary you will see his profoundness in thought; in his merchandise you will see his business acumen; in his podcasts you see his playfulness; in his caring for his mother you see his filial piety; he may not be the most handsome or the best actor or singer - but he is someone with strength and tenacity that inspires -

Sword and Fairy 4 is a stand alone story- you do not have to watch any other story first

He didn't do anything wrong so he didnt have to learn any lesson - but he did teach ALL OF US how one can persevere in the face of extreme adversity and still forge ahead via a different path to greater success without losing sight of original intentions - his strength, tenacity and bravery to face (still facing) and overcome such blatant falsehoods heaped on him is a testament to his fortitude - he remains an upbeat, kind, nurturing , filial , emotional young man who is thoughtful, talented and intelligent- wish him the best always ❤️❤️
