I saw the trailer for S2 and I was intrigued so I decided to watch S1 and I was blown away
the friendship, betrayal, emotions were all spot on 💯

You seeing FP materials everywhere is due to the fact that they finally gave fans something after so long so of course they would promote it heavily and with how big the fandoms are it's normal many will see it

I would advise you to do some research before speaking cause if we should talk about the amount of materials both dramas have then MM will win by a huge margin. FP just started releasing materials this week and they were so secretive even to the Reuters of the drama when filming was very very hard to find and even when FP broke 1 m to 4m reservations all they posted were flowers and nothing more

As long as the drama has a good plot and acting I believe it will be a hit competition or not ( take blossom as an example)

I on the other hand have a different opinion. To me the author has the right to choose any photo they want as a cover page and also to me the yang zi fans also have a right to question it since they believed it was a clickbait. So to me both are right and I do feel their convo was going smoothly before I started seeing some accusations of trolling from some commenters which I feel is dumb

P.S I also just finished LYF and came to this article cause I saw XY's pic but I'm not pissed since I didn't see her there though since I'm not a fan but then as you said they should all rest, calm down and move on

I literally rushed over here after watching LYF2 and I can definitely see yang zi owning Shen miao. Her acting skills are so good that it was as if I was looking at shen miao from the novel in that drama. I heard that she is rumoured for it and I really hopes she takes on this role.

P.S this is one of my all time fav novels

I would call JOL2 the most anticipated costume drama though😅😅 and I do hope both dramas get what they deserve too cause it's the hardwork of a lot of ppl
