I just finished Ep 2 and I feel so sorry for Wei Ziqi!! He was suicidal when he was a teenager, his uncle wants him dead (because of money/company related reasons), he's constantly being spied on, he has to act like an idiot jerk all the time so as his uncle underestimates him and now Yuan Xia hates his guts! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Poor Wei Ziqi!!!

I read that apparently the producers said to give the drama a sad ending but then after filming finished they changed their minds and wanted a happy ending. But by then it was too late to do re-shoots so they had to re-edit the ending as best they could to make it happy. I don't know how true that is but I actually re-edited the last few episodes (out of curiosity) and put them back in what I think was the original order that led to the sad ending and it flowed so much better, so I think that story might be true?
I'm the same, I don't care too much about cgi etc issues. For me, the most important things are that the drama has an interesting story and I like the characters! And I'm so used to cdramas having weird endings I just assume that every cdrama I start is going to end weirdly, and if it actually has a good ending then that's a bonus! 😆

The Legends is my number 1 favourite drama from all genres haha!! What's your number one drama? I agree that they definitely messed up the ending of The Legends but I think that the first 90% of it was so amazing! I just started the book and it's really good!!

I *think* what happens is that Youku will select some dramas and quickly sub them (with proper subs) and put them on their Youtube Channel. The rest of their dramas they leave to be subbed later (if at all) but in the meantime someone will Google translate sub these dramas and put them on a non legitimate site. I've also noticed that sometimes Youku will legally license out a drama to another Youtube channel to be properly subbed. Anyway, that's what I think is going on...

Future Tao Tao had to ring Past Ye Fan so as he would realise that the phone was magical. Although in the end the whole magic phone thing never happened so I'm not sure how Future Tao Tao would have known to ring that phone????
