And the best part all these emotions were evoked in us and they still aint together!!!😅🤣😂
ikrrr seeing them together changed my brain chemistry but these clowns aren’t all over each other yet 😠but that’s the best part, their interactions are so non cliche, natural, and the tension omg. like are they teasing us or each other?!
I hate you guys. I binged watched it bc of how much you were hyping this up and damn now they have me on a CHOKEHOLD ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ I’m such a simp for them. Excuse me?!! That rain scene? That flower girl scene? him giving her his inner clothes bc she was uncomfortable with a stranger’s? Her staring at him while he’s undressing?!!!!!!!
NO HISTORICAL CDRAMA HAD ME BLUSHING THIS BAD ðŸ˜
sorry, but I can't feel any empathy for her mother, she gets on my nerves all the time, i try to understand chinese…
I totally get you 😠I love Yang Zi here but couldn't continue bc of that mom. no its not even chinese culture, her mom is just insufferable. im asian and although my family influences my decisions a lot, if i discuss it with them, they understand because, at the end of the day, we want the best for each other. so there's a lot of communication and compromises involved. her mom is literally just sabotaging her daughter's life and no, the culture is not an excuse.
Dropping this show after watching till ep 7 bc of how frustrating it is. FL is trying her best and I really admire her. I hate how ML is using her and nothing is charming about him except the fact that he's played by Xu Kai and even that can't make me continue.
The FL's mom is the worst and every character in this show is lowkey annoying. FL's bf until ep 7 does seem like he really loves the FL but needs to step up and be the one she can trust and protect. I feel like their relationship can be salvaged if they work it out and communicate seriously instead of the bf asking for a cute apology and going back and forth. Their relationship seems realistic to me bc they both love each other but have problems like any other couple out there but they just need to work things out. the bf told his family that he's definitely going to marry the FL, isn't hiding any facts from his family, and doesn't look down on our FL and her family in any way. the way he's approaching things is wrong and he needs to step up his game but this relationship could totally work out if they set healthy boundaries with each other's families and focus on what's right for their future.
I hate how Asian families are shown here. Although Asian families are more family-focused, and members rarely tend to make decisions unilaterally and consider the input of elders, these families here are straight-up sabotaging their own kin. I hate this kind of overbearing representation and FL spinelessly keeps enabling her. I grew up in an Asian family too, if they get too overbearing, we talk things out and make it work because, at the end of the day, we all want the best for each other. Here, both families don't even seem like they want the best for their respective members. so emotionally messed up.
And the ML? He's just someone who didn't even visit his grandma for years and is now trying to lick his grandma's boots to get her company/ property. He's also using the FL and putting her in awkward situations and isn't an admirable leader until what I have seen.
I can't see the chemistry between the leads yet. I can see more chemistry between I-na and her crush bc it's genuine. The ML is just curious about the FL for now. He is exploring their connection for his peace of mind by hoping to change something he couldn't for years. The FL is trying to scam him and get over with this so she can cut ties with this con mom. Neither of them has feelings for the other nor some tension yet so their kissing scene felt like it meant nothing.
Wish their first kiss wasn't rushed like this. I was hoping to see some chemistry and angst that led to a kiss. I wanted them to be vulnerable in front of each other, her in her true self and him opening up.
I actually like the fact that the FL's a scammer. Not every female lead in a kdrama needs to be morally upright and have a savior complex to save the pitiful cold ML and his broken family. I could see that the FL was led astray due to the people around her and her circumstances so I'm really looking forward to her character growth.
i really hoped that dance girl would become besties with I-na for a change but nah most of these writers can't sleep without including a jealous girl who likes the same guy as you in their dramasðŸ˜
i get more butterflies from I-na and her crush's scenes. they both would look so cute together. i hope she gains more confidence, gets a new haircut, and lives her life happily without feeling guilty for existing or believing that she's invisible
me writing cheaters in the same line as sexual offenders and multiple dui is the issue here? nah man, I was just stating some factors that can lead to a celebrity getting canceled. they're by no means on the same level.
i definitely can't but that's not going to change the fact that a celebrity, especially a celebrity woman who cheated will be canceled or at least face some consequences in her career due to her personal life. For instance, took at Kim Min Hee. She was a top actress and was ostracized in the industry for years for a cheating scandal. Now take a look at Lee Byung Hun. He cheated on his wife multiple times and it's known in the media but he's still getting amazing projects and endorsements.
Asian ent regard good morals as a high character that should be valued by celebrities. Cheating can be a cause to get a celebrity cancelled here or atleast make them lose projects. It’s a scandal. If it was a female actress who cheated, she would’ve been called names by netizens and boycotted
I don't know if you're Asian or not. But in many Asian cultures, we call older male "brother". Seniority is a…
I’m Asian and I get what you mean. It’s not about her calling him gege, it’s about her saving his contact like he’s her actual brother, him posing as her actual brother and then developing feelings for each other.
It looked like playing house with your brother so I got weirded out. I tried watching it again, but it’s not my cup of tea
I’m glad she didn’t like MF though because…. He have another identity which wil really break her heart and…
ik but that could make an anti hero story if only mofang didn’t kill that general. I’m all in for shen li and xingzhi though but mofang’s story is just so sad and complicated
Mofang surely knows how to woo a girl.. he’s always straight forward.. that’s what I like about him the most
This! There are so many guys irl and even MLs in drama who drag and beat around the bush but my guy here bravely confessed his love despite his complicated identity and knowing the fact that there’s high chance shen li will reject him. I’m all in for shen li and xingzhi now but I’ve a soft spot for mofang

I'm so not hooked.
