That's not for season 2. That's for the Cathy Doll projects I listed below. And it's a little outdated now because…
I think New is on good terms with them again. Maybe since they changed management? New was just at a fanmeeting with Perth/Plan/Title/Earth/Mark/Gun. New even had a cute little interaction with Perth. https://www.twitter.com/delorisxtw/status/1122462967918780417
So I think it's possible they all work together again.
He's become my favorite actor. He is by far the most talented Thai actor I've seen. He projects emotion so well. There's a subtly, ease and believability to his acting. He deserves a lot of roles. And we deserve to watch him.
I wonder if New has too much on his plate now. These series are somewhat spread out though. I'm hopeful this series can reunite Saint/Perth, Mean/Plan if there isn't a LBC S2. Although, LBC S2 doesn't neccesarily have to have New as the director.
I am not Thai, so I can't say anything for sure. During LBC there were many problems and everything was messed…
I think you're right. I think New may have had issues with Perth's old manager. But Perth and others recently changed management. But I also think New and Saint had already committed to Why R U, so they'll have to finish that first, but both were able to do Reminders since it was short. I know Perth has a support role in an upcoming film. I'm not aware of any projects Mean and Plan are working on. So I think there's a possibility S2 of LBC can happen once New and Saint are done with Why R U. I think it may be being talked about behind the scenes. I think they all want it to happen. They still have fanmeets together. And clearly fans do too. I heard LBC was the most-viewed series on Line.
I wonder if they did this as a mini to see what kind of response it got to see if they'd make it into a full series. Clearly there is a demand for these couples.
it’s a small series of the three couples, white-captain, perth-saint and mean-plan, there’s nothing to do…
I agree. Even after having watched it without subs, these are not the LBC characters. Same couples but totally different characters. They each have a different aura. But it's kinda nice to see the actors play off each other in a different way. But them being on the same campus and same LBC soundtrack was a nice touch. SPOILERS AHEAD: Saint is more assertive and stronger than Pete was played and Perth is the more tentative and worried(?) one. We haven't seen much Mean and Plan but it's definitely not Tin and Can but kind of the same dynamic. Mean is still chasing after Plan, but Mean is not as cold as Tin was. He and Perth had a couple of scenes where it showed they have a friendly relationship. And Ae and Tin definitely hated each other even at the end of LBC. And Plan's character isn't talking non-stop and immature as Can was. But they all have undeniable chemistry.
Anyway, it's trending #1 most-watched on Line TV (episode 1 of LBC is #10) Hopefully this shows how much demand there is for a LBC2 or at least a full season of this show. The people in charge need to make it happen.

Thanks Jessica! :) no apologies neccesary. I love all the info. The more info the better. Thanks so much! As I started to really like LBC I didn't know much about the behind the scenes and it's hard to find any online. You're very knowledgeable so I hope you don't mind if I have questions in the future. I think I'm becoming a fan of New, so anything he does I know I'll like. I will just hope with everyone else that LBC gets a S2. The fans, actors and the whole genre quite frankly deserve it. Yes! I know Mew from What The Duck! So happy to see spinoffs.

Please excuse my ignorance as I'm new to this. But if there was such conflict between Perth's management and Saint, then how are they able to do 'Reminders'? And they do so many fanmeet together too. I feel bad New is in debt. It's hard to believe such a successful show didn't make money. Look at the massive online response and huge crowds at fanmeets. I've come to respect New very much. Just watching him you can tell he's passionate about making a good story and he makes the actors feel so comfortable. I'm new to this genre. My experience is bad. I started out with 2Moons, that too was a successful S1 and fell apart after casting problems. Do most of these shows go through this?

Oh and loved the Blackpink reference. Lol.
BTW it's trending #1 on twitter in Thailand. Hopefully will serve as a push to make this an actual series.
