I cant wait. Anyone have any idea when this is actually coming out?
Plan said they'd start filming in February or March. Will probably have 6-8 weeks of filming and another month of post-production. Maybe around June-July. Season 1 was filmed early 2018 and was set to air in May but got delayed due to a network pulling out the day before it was set to debut. Finally it premiered on GMM in August. So it could be quicker. Gauging by some of the actors' schedules there are some open spots, however there are some events like Mean and Plan having a fanmeet in Los Angeles in March. So it's hard to say. I have a feeling they're going to start filming in the next couple of weeks.
I’m excited for this! I just hope Plan will be more comfortable kissing Mean and give us hotter scenes. He was…
They've shot a lot of projects since then that had a lot more steamier scenes than in LBC and have done a lot of fanservice at their fanmeets. They look a lot more comfortable with each other now. In LBC their characters were just awkward and Tin is more cold, so it was probably purposely awkward.
After Non heard his father's reaction to the gay pupils, I thought he was trying to get Pete and Kao to admit…
Yeah, I actually feel bad for Non. He's young and has these feelings. I think Kao and Pete could give him guidance for his feelings and feel more comfortable. His dad is homophobic and abusive. I also don't think Non is behind the post. His dad is.
So I am all for this 100% I just watch the trailer and it looks to be good I just have two issues the production…
I think the trailer was a one-off and seems to have been shot a while ago. Studio Wabi Sabi did LBC S1 and Until We Meet Again. It'll be the same production value. And given the popularity, they won't have trouble with sponsorship. Also heard AIS is distributing it.
Nothing seems to be confirmed. This page and cast list can be edited by anyone. Things seem like they're still up in the air with Saint. I think he'll ultimately be part of S2, even if in a limited capacity.
Here's the MeanPlan fanmeet with the cast with ENG subs where they announced Season 2. It's pretty emotional. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58jgHmZbQ2I Some highlights: -The director, New, said the timing had to be right. He was filming Until We Meet Again this year so a S2 wasn't possible. -The author, Mame, said it's a continuation of Tin/Can and Ae/Pete, but confirmed Tin/Can will be the main couple and focus of S2. - Plan gets emotional. Mean says it will feel the same as before. - Perth said it's his wish that he only be a couple with Saint. -Gun said they knew for some time that there would be a S2...which draws the reaction from a fan of "Why didn't you tell us?!" which makes everyone laugh. -Mark gets super emotional and cries. These are his friends and brothers. -Title and Earth are just being very happy. -Gong confirms all couples will get a chance to shine. -Gong seems to be the driving force behind S2 happening. He's secured sponsors.
Does anyone have the English version of the novel and what to expect in Season 2? I know the author said at the 2Wish fanmeet that TinCan will be the main focus, which is what fans wanted.
This will start IN A YEAR FROM NOW?!?! Or is that date just there for no reason?
Based on the timeline from the first season, they were doing workshops in early 2018 and it began airing in August and I believe there were even delays. So a good chance could be airing in June or July...in about 7 months. Not sure if a script is developed, but with both the author and director there at the announcement, it's a good sign they're far along in development. It's also good they were able to secure the cast before any other schedules, which tells me they've been working on it for a while.
They cried at the announcement of season 2 at the 2Wish fanmeet. Mark was especially emotional. You could tell this meant a lot to them. Almost like a relief. Something they never thought would happen. New was there along with the author of the novel. I think it's important that she was there. At one time the rumor was she didn't authorize the rights for a season 2. So glad she was there. Gong was also emotional. So glad to see Sammy and Yacht in the teaser too. This. Is. Amazing.
By the time this airs it will have been 2 years in real time since S1. Does anyone know the timeline in the novel? And if we go by last year, they were doing workshops in early 2018 and it aired in August. If I remember correctly there were even some delays. So this could be airing by early Summer.
Aaaahhhh. Justice! The fans demanded it. It was the most popular drama in 2018. I don't think the fans ever gave up. I'm happiest for Plan and Mean. They deserve this so much. Such amazing actors. I was really waiting for so long for them to get a drama. I'm happy for the whole group. This group belongs together. Great chemistry. I really followed each of them individually because of how talented they are and they are just such nice people.
I don't know all the details on the behind the scenes stuff on S1 that caused drama, but it made me sick to think we would be deprived of S2 b/c of it. I know New was frustrated at one point. And he became very busy with other projects. But you could tell in the last year he really started to feel he needed to make this happen. You can tell he feels a connection to this cast.
Who wants to support that TinCan storyline to be continuing???
Mean/Plan kinda remind me of Off/Gun from Puppy Honey. They were so popular that they continued to do events, f anmeets and shows together like Mean/Plan. But it was 2 years until they were cast in another series together.
I think the best chance to see this cast together again is this new series with Director New ---> https://kisskh.at/33965-fhalanrak-the-series It has yet to be cast. And I've noticed New hanging out with the Attractor (Perth, Plan, Title and Gun's agency) guys at a lot of events recently. New is currently working on 3 (!) series including one with Saint and another with Earth. But it's hard to imagine actors like Plan and Mean not having anything in the pipeline acting wise. Maybe they're waiting on New.
I have a feeling they're going to start filming in the next couple of weeks.

Yikes! I feel so behind.
