For me personally Virginity does not matter. I have seen kdramas with simp ml who was engaged , but there they met as adults. And as i have said before,I find it bit wired to start dating when you have feelings for someone else. But all this debate is useless because for now we don't know his feelings for fl and if he is a virgin or not.

I think it's because in old kdamas it was often experience /fuckboy ml and virgin and naive fl. And in real life too "experienced" women are considered bad where as experienced male are ok and expected. Also in recent kdramas it is a trend to make ml as desirable and perfect. So if they show that he was in love or liked fl since childhood and still had relationships would taint its picture perfect image.
