I'm so scared bc first season was a masterpiece and in this season there are different screenwriters. I don't…
the thought scares me too but even before part 1 was released, they originally planned on doing 2 parts, one for high school and one for university so I expect that they have already planned the plot for part 1&2 since the beginning. Yes, other sequels flopped and sucked but I do have high hopes for this one haha.
Can I ask, does this drama have many science or hospital-related scenes. (Ex. Operating, surgeries) or even sharing basic knowledge abt medicine related things?
I was looking for something similar with Reply 1988 because I loved that and discovered this gem. Personally, as a senior student in high school, this drama hits home because I actually see these things happening to us. It taught me that time should not always be taken for granted because we don't know something's gone when it is already out of our reach and we can only look back. Overall, this drama focuses on friendship, family, and youth along with its struggles. They were able to capture my heart and made me think of decisions before totally leaving high school. It made me sad especially towards the end, but it inevitable, at some point in our lives, we need to separate and go our own ways, strive for our goals, and one day, we're gonna look back and reminiscence the time we had with our friends during high school.
I know I am sharing nonsense here haha. But if you are an incoming or current high school student, focus on your studies but don't forget to enjoy. The world does not only revolve around school because one day you're going to look back and regret the things you didn't do when you had the chance.
A beautiful portrayal of youth; indeed a coming-of-age series. 9.5/10
I love how each Korean BL that recently came out offers a fresh plot. Not much repetitive. And away from the school setting. A new breeze for watchers who are tired of engineering and medicine students who denies that they're gay (I don't like men, I only like him) or someone that battles who's top or bottom, or crazy shipper girls following the main leads around haha. Please Korea, stay away from that trope haha.
The way Tian's friend responded when Tian came out was everything I hoped for and wished I had with my friends and family. If only people were like him.
Young Hwa and Dan-ah's relationship was my favourite. And looking back, I was not expecting gay themes on this drama at all but I was surprised and happy to see that they included some. It hits home tbh. "You are my first love... You really are my weakness" and the line of Dan Ah when she apologized to Young Hwa's friend with "I lied to my parents being gay just to avoid marriage. While people suffer just from hiding it" something along those lines (I can't remember the exact words) but it hits me a lot.
This might not be everyone's cup of tea but as someone who likes slice of life drama, this is a good one.
So, in all honesty. I enjoyed this series a lot. It gave a fresh plot, nothing we've seen in the BL genre and the drama is well done. I am glad that they all got their happy ending (shoutout to Inspector M and Dr Oat haha) It was really a cleanse or a game-changer incorporating murder mystery in BL because we don't see a lot of that.
IDK where this drama belongs to, 2020 or 2021, but for 2020 (since it started 2020), ITSAY and MOD were my fav and a good starter for 2021 along with To My Star and We Best Love.
But something bothers me though. In the end, one of the suspects (the government official one who was on a truck) escaped right? is that hinting at something? haha, just that. but everything else was great.
This series is good so far. I like how there's no "I'm a man so I cannot like you because we're both men." I love that they're just going with the flow of their feelings and emotion. Good Job on that
I remember Nadao's announcement before when they said that they will release the date after the filming is officially…
And about the casts, I still think (Not 100% chance but just hoping) that orig casts or atleast MoRaoYuLok would appear because if we check the offering ceremony for the first part, Hoon and Teh's mother were not there but played a big role in the series. haha

Just one thing that bothers me is the sound effects, i think there's too much.
