If you don't mind watching older dramas then I recommend:
1 Litre of Tears (the drama version with Erika Sawajiri) Gomene Seishun Seigi no Mikata Asuko March Proposal Daisukusen (fantasy) My Boss My Hero Bokutachi ga Yarimashita Gakkou no Kaidan
And if you don't mind watching Asadora then I recommend Amachan and Mare.
I forgot the titles of the other dramas. Probably because I've watched too many of them. Lol.
She is basically Nounen the 2nd for me, just her looks ofc. Her and Nounen's looks are almost the same. Maybe because she is Nounen's successor in Nicola. Lol. I saw her first in Mare, you will easily recognized her in the latter episodes and since then, I've always waited for her projects. Glad that she's really active right now.
I can't wait for her Asadora. Hopefully she could get a romcom type of a drama again in the future. She's been really good with it, like the ones in Gomene Seishun, Ashi Garu and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. And yes, she's grown up to be a gorgeous lady now!
She only had 1 project this year? Make that 2 if we include her special. Hope to see her more in a romcom drama. I think it suits her well but ofc if we could get something close to the character that she portrayed in the "Last Letter" then I think that would be great as well. She's really cute and adorable.
This is almost the same as love me, love me not with Hamabe Minami and Kitamura Takumi. The taboo of being in a relationship with a step sibling. Nana Mori once again nailed her role here. She's so cute and lively. More romance drama for her please! Now for Matsumura Hokuto, I've only seen him now though his profile says that he's been in Piece drama with Tsubasa Honda as the lead and he's been in Kids on the Slope but I can't really remember seeing him there when I watched those dramas before. Anyways I think he did great here and I think he is well suited for this type of genre. Overall, this movie was great and the step siblings romance is great as well. Now if we only have the Koi Kaze type of a live action, then that might really raise a lot of eyebrows out there. I undertand that there is a live adaption of boku wa imouto ni Koi wo Suru, but Koi Kaze is still different in my opinion because of the gap in their age. LOL.
Kurumi Shimizu? Wow, been waiting for her to get some lead role for so long now. I can't believe I haven't seen this one yet so I'm going to give this a try later on.
Yes, we're finally getting Gen Z/very young Millenials in main roles and they're doing amazing. Fuka Koshiba is…
Yep. Tuna Girl is actually not for everyone unless you love spice of life genre with a slow story pacing, so all you need to do is just to find the scene where she is wearing a dress or a mini skirt, can't really remember if it was a skirt or dress but she was really sexy on it. She's really flawless ;)
I hope she won't change because she doesn't need a make-over. Society has to accept the way she is, and luckily…
That is yet to be seen. If they will follow what the original version did then most likely we'll see her changing her hair within at least the next 2 or 3 episodes given that this Japanese version is shorter by 6 episodes compared to the original ones and the current scenes were already by the sea shores which was around episode 8 or so if I'm not mistaken in the Korean version. Oh and yes, the episodes are shorter too with only 45 mins running time compared to 60+ mins per episode in the Korean version.
Hopefully they will let her be with that frizzy hair for the entirety of the show coz she looks gorgeous with it. Plus the facts that they didn't make her cheeks red or pinkish due to freckles is just different from the original version.
Damn. The ML was so annoying. I understand that a lot in the comment section favors him just bcoz he looks cute or handsome to them, well not for me, his character was annoying and the 2nd lead guy is much better in my opinion in terms of character and attitude towards the FL. Man the ML was too draggy and forcing the FL to do what she doesn't want to do, that's just a NO NO for me.
I will watch this after all 10 episodes are out with subbed. So maybe for the mean time i will try Quartet coz I haven't seen it yet but according to the comment section, he is also the writer of Saikou no Rikon which was actually one of my favorite dramas years ago. I hope that they can subbed all of the episodes already coz I can't wait to see how this drama will give me a roller coaster type of a ride. Thanks to subber btw.
1 Litre of Tears (the drama version with Erika Sawajiri)
Gomene Seishun
Seigi no Mikata
Asuko March
Proposal Daisukusen (fantasy)
My Boss My Hero

Oh and yeah, this is a great drama so far. Give it a try unless you don't like either Nakagawa or Araki.
Hopefully they will let her be with that frizzy hair for the entirety of the show coz she looks gorgeous with it. Plus the facts that they didn't make her cheeks red or pinkish due to freckles is just different from the original version.
