The bakery owner is obviously a stalker and I also thought she may be the first love with a different face. After ep 6, I'm thinking she's one of the supposed many ex's the scientist guy hinted at.

I don't think it lacks a cohesive plot, but I think there may be too many mysterious things going on. There's something building with the ex and with the brother/father. I'm enjoying it all though, but I hope we're not left with unanswered elements unless we're getting a third season.

I'm kidding, but I also can't believe people are complaining about the romance. I think it was smart to set it up in the first episode. I like that they have grown so close and given the progression in season one, it makes sense. I am looking forward to seeing how they navigate their feelings while working as cops and also dealing with the ex who is so going to make trouble. Honestly, there is nothing I love more than a crime and/or action series with an enjoyable bit of romance. And they are so cute together!

The dad is a straight up menace to society. Hide yo wife and daughter cause he might abuse them next. What a sexist pig. Think he's the shiz too. Got my pressure all the way up. The grandmother is a lunatic too.

Despite the fact that Sumire was pretty dense and refused to make a decision one way or another until the very last minute, I really liked this one. The leads had great chemistry and the writing was pretty good. I was invested and wanted to see how things ended.

I also stopped at the middle of the first episode and didn't come back until recently. It's definitely a good watch. It picks up with the second ep and keeps going so I'd give it another shot.

Honestly, the first episode wasn't that great, but I'm going to give it to ep5.
