Haven’t watched the Korean version, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Acting was solid and each episode kept me entertained and invested. A solid 9, would have been a 10 if some of the emergency responses and situations were more realistic in terms of time and protocols.
Sigh. It was truggin along acceptably for the first hour or so. Nothing too good or bad. Firmly planted on ok lane and enjoyable in it's own way. Then the last 30 mins killed everything.
This trend in the kpop industry is something that reminds me of the issue with children in the entertainment industry in America being preyed upon by perverse adults. The whole system needs to be shut down. The idol business, the business of marketing young people and working them until there health is at the lowest of lows, it just needs to be checked. People need to stop thinking these groups and actors are simply here for their fanning and criticisms when they don't live up to the fantasy of perfection.
