Zhu Yan is annoying. The White Snow Eagle is useless. Shi Ying is short sighted and will realize what he has to do too late. By then the Grand Preceptor ( obviously consumed by his heart demon ) will have spilled too much innocent blood to clear his path to the throne , which he might not even agree to sit on ...😏😏. I see tragedy and then some ...

Yifeng is too ruthless though ...putting the fate of the three realms in the hands of someone like him is like telling Satan to save lives. Being a banished god does not necessarily make him a hero everyone can look up to ...i think that's where they are leaning towards with the plot. I have also noticed in the introduction preview slides that the ML eventually starts wearing black ...that means he is most probably related to the Demon Clan. Perhaps he is another Cang Jiumin 😅...a devil going through tribulations ...and i bet he is the Heavenly Great Demon that was accidentally released by the banished gods. That would explain the cycle of karma between the 3 and also why the blue stone responds to him. If i recall correctly ....the Heavenly Great Demon had a blue stone embedded in its skin.

You are missing a lot. I for one get the fact that not all stories will be perfect since well ...diversity of writers. Anyway , Big Mouth is scarier than Big Mouse. That's what you missed.

His appearance would have created a new enemy to tackle for the ML. That spiral would not have fit in 16 episodes.
