But at what cost ? WWX had to lose everything wrongfully. The way he protected remaining people of Wen for more than a year and they all surrendered themselves to be executed. Can you imagine his pain ? His hardwork, dedication, revolution, happiness, promise to himself, all went in vain.
Only if they could understand Wei Wuxian did everything for them to be safe but they didn't value their lives. The only people he relied on last left him too without considering what effect could it have on him.
