In Revenged love, one was always a red flag (Chi Cheng) that even his ex became mental bcz of him. Seriously when story of his ex unfolded I started feeling so bad for him. Chi Cheng is annoyingly non-chalent, lusty and always wants to take control of his partner. Another one (Wu Suo Wei) literally mooches off of him. He was an independent guy before meeting Chi Cheng. He kind of sold himself to Chi Cheng but also kinda fell in love with him. He lost his self respect after falling for Chi Cheng. Idk how that even works and how to explain it. Love is supposed to change you in a good way not in a BAD WAY. Very uncomfortable and embarrassing watch.

Why would she say that unless she wants to hide something or she doesn't want the world to know some things about it? People who still read the novel told that their are literally some scenarios so off putting in the novel that they couldn't make it into the scenes. In order to make it less toxic they removed some parts from the novel.

Yes, I watched Addicted first and i prefer this version for many reasons. It felt to me like it's more complete and satisfying than Addicted.
Every little thing is so detailed from their first encounter, to their friendship, to their family dynamics. The developing emotional relationship b/w them is explained in a better way.
You couldn't get the exact idea of their relationship in Addicted. Things were so abrupt and hasty in there. It was also kinda toxic too. I mean since the original work is also toxic it means "ADDICTED" was the perfect adaptation.
To me in "STAY WITH ME" the actors portrayed feelings in a more natural way.
I watched STAY WITH ME without reading it's summary I only knew it was bromance somehow but when I started watching it i went why is this so similar to ADDICTED.. then I searched and got to know it's a remake.
Up until the blackout scene in classroom i couldn't tell whether if it was a BROMANCE or BL. And wdym Wu Bi is getting jealous for Su Yu and is so possessive about him. Bro you sure it's bromance ?! 😂

Maybe they could've focused on the ending of the story rather than focusing on repeating it.
