For those who have watched it, what's a summary that actually accurately describes this drama? Trying to decide…
this guy comes to a city on a mission to solve a case about this drug that's been killing people and meets a bunch of friends including his future lover and they work on the case together which turns out to be involved with a bunch of mythological stuff including mermaids. it's not a thriller though, genres are very much romance and fantasy
1) idk it annoys the heck out of me too... if you're looking for something short you're most likely only going to find it in a rom-com
4) In China the last names come first, so people who are close to each other not use their last name when addressing them (for example someone might call a friend named "chen yixu" just "yixu"). They also often add suffixes and prefixes to the names as nicknames (common ones are "xiao", which means small, and would be used as xiaoxu or "'er", which is just a suffix, and could be used as "xu'er". They also might just double one of the characters, like "chen chen" or "xu xu".) sorry if that was confusing.

10) people in chinese dramas cough up blood for so many different reasons (getting stabbed, getting healed, dying, even getting slapped) I think it's just for dramatic effect to indicate the seriousness of the injury

yeah, i agree. if you don't like dirty jokes you probably won't get the dirty jokes that are scattered here and there anyway. Plus, the dirty jokes definitely don't get in the way of the actual comedy/plot

it's just a different style of humor :) this is literally The Office so if you don't like The Office humor, which is really sarcastic and over the top, you probably won't like it.
This is literally a YG version of The Office. It's not about showcasing spectacular acting or watching some kind of sitcom, it's a loosely scripted comedy that you can watch and laugh with your favorite idols. If you like the office style comedy/stan YG, you should definitely watch it.
