They changed EVERYTHING about the series and I cannot tell you how excited I am for this to start. My god Perth was not exaggerating when he said that trailer was like a cinematic experience. This looks like it’s going to be well worth the almost 2 years of waiting.
This whole series is crazy and my watch party spends the entire time yelling at the screen and each other WTF JUST HAPPENED, BACK THAT UP. Today's episode was no different. I didn't think this was going to be one of my favorite series but it sure is looking like that.
My Ride gets officially released on Gagaoolala on March 5th.
I’ve watched through Ep 5. The translations were just really um questionable at best. But I got what they were saying. I’m just waiting for next week. That preview was pretty intense looking.
Thank you again to GagaOOLaLa for picking up another series so we as interfans have an official source for this show. I now have faith that Love Stage will soon follow.
Not gonna lie, the first episode had me super creeped out. But I decided to stick it out because I always give series a 2 episode watch and episode 2 gave us Mr. Sassy Pouty Pants aka Jao so that made me want to give it another episode and episode 3 was even better for me. I would like more of Jao and Sky but that’s my second lead syndrome coming out as usual. The friends though, they’re the best part of this entire series. The support system is the real deal.
The first episode was super cringey. But the second episode was actually getting good especially once Mr. Sassy Pouty Pants aka Jao got going full force. The cringe aspect was dialed down majorly and hopefully doesn’t notch back up.
I agree 100%... we need more BL with adult characters (like HIStory 3: Trapped). I'm also so happy they're changing…
Such a sucker for mafia romance. I’m hoping they play up the mafia aspect of Max’s character in Cutie Pie because Hia Yi is mafioso in the novel - or at least his father is. And whoooo boy Max in that red suit in the debut episode.
I am loving this new crop of BL where the storyline isn’t the romance. The romance just happens to be within a storyline but not the main point. For example with Not Me. They built up the relationship over 9 episodes because it wasn’t the point of the series. And as someone else pointed out the main leads aren’t late teens/early 20s so we’re seeing a more mature crop of actors as well and I’m living for it. And mafia. Give me all the mafia!
The drama was announced way before he got drafted so probably the shot it long time ago
Why do I feel like a military spouse? Imagine what Drake feels like. I know when my BFF went into the service I felt like that and he wasn’t even drafted. His husband used to call me the other spouse. Lol!
And here we go. If this method of release is successful for GMMTV (one of the biggest players in Thailand) then this is the way the others will take their shows as well. (And since I’m feeling particularly shitty this morning and want to take others on this ride with me) I’m seeing this as a death knell for access for interfans who we know they already don’t give a shit about. I had this fear immediately after they announced the release and didn’t mention YouTube.
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate Off and his acting ability? I know how much we go on about Gun and…
The way he was able to convey so many emotions in one scene from the look of love and joy in expressing how he felt, to his confusion with Black when he rejected those words to the moments when he clung to Blacks pant legs as Black beat him unconscious all of it was pure and unadulterated brilliance. He has grown so much in his craft.
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate Off and his acting ability? I know how much we go on about Gun and his ability. We recognize how good an actor he is. But my god Off in Episode 11 was simply MAGNIFICENT especially his scene with Black.
