It was 2 years between the roles so a lot can happen. I'm not sure how the character in Oxygen was supposed to have been played but I just didn't get a sense of what the character was even supposed to be about in that series. Here though he is amazing. There's one scene where he's completely overwhelmed and freaking out and was very convincing that he was feeling that emotion.

Had my doubts about this one until Nut showed up onscreen and that doubt quickly disappeared. His screen presence has greatly changed between Oxygen and this series. In Oxygen I found him very wooden and not super convincing as the lead. Here he’s really warm and very convincing as the ghost.

And that’s a wrap folks on a BL that broke all the stereotypes we see in so many other BLs out there. Now excuse me as I go cry in a corner as I hope we see another masterpiece like this come around. I hope others learn that this can be done and be successful.

God you put this perfectly. I was just so happy to get the sweet after scene with them being so typical for them and the rating system. I was just happy to see Pat knock the fuck out with how great he was loved on no matter what way that loving happened. And I was just happy to see the joy the next day on both of their faces when they saw each other for the first time after that night they spent together. Those moments were what were important in those scenes. Not what parts went where because frankly I don't give a rats ass about any of that.

I’m thinking since they’re actually close in age it won’t be cringe like Golden Blood. Plus it’s GMMTV which has a budget and actual script writers.

No it really didn’t change the fact man had all those condoms and still chose to not use them. Dumb move on his part. Smart move though to address it the way they did.

I feel like I'm in some kind of fever dream here where MDL and Viki are not lining up (which is not unusual). This is NOT a 13+ show and is in fact rated 18+ both on the opening credits and on Viki itself and it's listed as 12 episodes. Does someone want to make sure I'm not going crazy?
