binged the entire season in a day during my covid isolation. I watched the Pete Kao cuts from Kiss me again beforehand. I loved this series. The actors are relatable, the chemistry between both Pete and Kao, Sun and Mork is really good. So many comments have sided with either Pete or Kao, but I could really understand both their points of view and am sure I had similar experiences in my 20's. I enjoyed the development of Sun and Mork's relationship as well - they were really good together. I would have to agree with previous comments Pete's Father was amazing. With Marriage Equality hopefully being achieved in Thailand, this is one series I hope they produce another season - Pete and Kao's married life and the continuing of Sun and Mork's relationship.
I really like this show - I was a little hesitant to watch at first since I am currently watching Gameboys and thought they would be much of the same. It isn't, it has tackled different issues, feelings and emotions. I really feel hopeful that programs such as Gameboys and Hello Stranger will lead change in the way current LGBTI roles are usually cast.
Finished watching both season 1 and 2 and I cannot believe I put off watching these 2 series for so long. I loved every minute of it. Overall it just left me feeling happy.

This series would have to be rated as one of the best ever produced and I am so proud that it came from the Philippines. After watching a number of Thai BL series during isolation in Australia, my Filipino husband Jay, kept telling me nothing like this would ever be made in the Philippines. Well was he wrong :-) We both have laughed and cried throughout the first 8 episodes - I love Pinoy humour, one of the reasons I love my asawa so much. The chemistry between the actors feels genuine, real and not placed into stereotypes which so many BL dramas seem to do. I truely pray that producing quality series such as Gameboys will help the Philippines achieve and embrace equality moving forward. Much love and stay safe. Brad & Jay
