Love love love it! Wasn't expecting to love it so I didn't watch as soon as it dropped. Then I started watching too late and I stayed up all night! Thank goodness it's Saturday morning (my time), so me and my eyebags are off to bed!

Yes, please add a spoiler tag. But I was wondering the same. Does this mean he didn't really make it out?

Title Love for You
storyline is more interesting than most modern cdramas tho.
Straightforward can be boring. But with this there are no hints to even start making conspiracy theories. I don't mind mystery. But not how it was done here. Anyway I'm still watching and hoping it makes sense soon

I find the storytelling approach really questionable. They relied on mystery too much, to the point of leaving the viewer confused. I don't know how I'm supposed to feel towards the characters, or who root for, because their motivations for acting the way they do are still up in the air. Even something as simple as telling us when, where and why the officer's wife dies, they still haven't 🤷‍♀️

Title Overdo
oh lawd. a republic era drama, which means everybody's gonna be dead at the end just bc lol.
Why do they do this though. I literally can't start a republican era drama even if I love the actors, because some will be dead by the end of it, and some will suffer throughout

The only thing that was holding back these 2 siblings is their powerlessness and the helplessness of their circumstances. Give them a bit of power and they're going to the extremes

i still can't tell if fl actually came back to help the ml or if it was just a coincidence that they were auditing…
That's my biggest worry. Like she'll get into so much trouble, then Chen Yi will have to throw himself into a firepit to save her.

The amount of cliffs people just happen to be around in Cdramas is truly ridiculous 💀
😂😂😂😂 It's the historical version of the white truck, except this one has plot armor

For a second there I thought there would be a child involved when the MIL called when they were in the car. This FL would have lost it for sure. She definitely wouldn't have been mature enough to handle that.

I'm finding female lead whiny and immature for someone who is supposed to be older and wiser. Honestly if that's…
Honestly, I understand her paranoia. It stems from insecurity. But I also agree with you that if this is all I had to worry about from my significant other, we would be married. Dating someone with such a history does mean you shoulder their past as well, but it's something you work through with constant communication. In short, it's a her problem, and she should have worked through it without making the person she loves feel guilty for having been married before. Because when you think about it, his ex's husband also has to deal with the same. So, yes, I understand the existence of the insecurity and paranoia, but she's handling it like she's 21, not 30. She has not matured emotionally.

That's the interpretation I'd gotten as well. I thought it was just a case of unrequited love. TBH all the princes seem lowkey obsessive of the women they love. Not excusing it or anything. I guess it'll become clearer as I continue to watch

I do kinda feel bad for the 5th prince though. We haven't been given any indication that he was a bad husband or abusive in any way, and his wife never grew to love him. Now, it's obvious Xi He is staring to develop feelings for the crown prince, even if she hasn't realized it yet

Title Blossoms of Power Spoiler
if I hear one more 'i have no romantic feelings towards you'......
I also think for her it's more of an insurance to make sure the CP never misunderstands her position. Let's not forget she (Gu Qinzhi) was in a marriage where she did not love her husband and was constantly "love-bombed." She's just trying to ensure he doesn't end up like the fifth prince.
