Is it only me that actually thinks nothing happened? I think the "little brother" got him drunk intentionally with the purpose of making sure Ye Xing Si would not remember what actually happened. I think the "big brother" liked him (I saw an interview today in which the actors explained that Ye Xing Si was going back and forth with his feeling because he was not ready to admit that he liked his brother romanticly) but would never ever admit it because of his parents and family status, so the other guy made him drunk and while he was still conscious the "little brother" pretended to be ready to go all the way, he kissed his neck and torso, but because he cares for him he would never kiss him on the mouth or go any further. Then he undressed him and himself and slept next to him (as he mentioned in the episode that he will sleep next to his brother), from his devotion to him and his feeling he would never cross the line to hurt his loved one. So I think the big brother just remembering his "little brother's" confession and kisses and then blacking out he took the conclusion he slept with him. I mean the little brother is a virgin... did they just set up a virgin to abuse the brother?!! It's too unplausible.
He did all this to become the bad guy (which show a great capacity for sacrifice), take all the blame for everything, and fight his father, if it would be the other way around the big brother would never be able to stand up for his sexual orientation and for his relationship with his father, he would not be able to handle being seen as a sinner (for corrupting his young brother) or being hated by the father, so the little brother pretended to take advantage of Ye Xing Si and ruined the family in order to give Ye Xing Si a clean consciousness and the knowledge he did not ruin the family and their relationship. (I think this episode was a miss direct if not the little brother's personality does not make sense, we know he does not have a close relationship with the parents, he is extremely smart, he can also read people easily, he is focused and target-oriented, knows what he wants and is rational... He is a direct person and has a strong character, his actions don't show obsession (he only reacted aggressively when he thought that Teng Mu Ren someone that is evolved with his "brother" got too close to Xiao Li Cheng, also a child he got into fights because that way his brother gave him attention and felt a connection (he did not seem to be able to show his weaknesses easily), he did smart choices to make sure they have a secure future if things go wrong. The situation seems to be quite strong if all 3 characters reacted seriously at the idea of the father finding out the big child is gay (first Ye Xing Si is afraid to admit it, the mother kept it a secret and the "little brother" decided to take it upon himself and also decided to get money to be able to live... If I would analyze everything I would have a lot of other examples of how the plot is making him look in one way but his actions show exactly the opposite, he never and I mean never ever hurt his brother or went against his words, so I think nothing happened that night. ❌ copy from a comment from YouTube @ shamkand ❌
I’m one of the few positive comments that actually like the series and like how it’s being portrayed. But overall it’s okay to rant on things you don’t like about the series especially with the ones saying how the show is showing a stepbrother/incest relationship when in reality the two characters aren’t related so you can really call it incest. And yeah the character is stalkerish & obsessive but you can’t make everyone dislike it based on your personal views. Because some people like may actually like the suspense or anticipation of the outcome on their relationship. Overall I don’t even think the character Fu Yong Jie is as creepy as some people say having that he is really in love and scared and lose Ye Xing Si.
