FYS is such a perfect guy!!! (I want one in real life lol) His way of turning down ZZZ was soooo well done. He respects her (drove her home, understand her good intention of helping him but still turn her help down because it will mean misunderstanding and further entanglement with her and her family) He was firm and clear to her that he doesn't like her and that he had someone else he likes. Which is a huge contrast to his brother. GRR may be a bit over with her pursue of the brother, but it doesn't seem like the brother firmly turn her down, yes, he avoids her and never show his liking, but he has no problem asking for her help. Somehow it felt like he is leading her on a bit...
To be honest, I went into this drama with very low expectation because it was filmed three years ago and the plot is a bit thin (thought they will add a lot of cutzy/in your face type of romance) but oh boy I am sooooooo wrong. I absolutely love the fact that both leads are focus on their careers and true to their character (not revolving/focusing around love all the time). Their characters seem real and their development from dislike, to understanding and finally attraction is sooooo well done. Both of them never forgot about their purpose on this trip and throughout the journey learned from each other and slowly blossom into attraction. Their interaction is also so relaxing and believable (no forced romance as plot device unlike so many other dramas) For example, when I saw the trailer on the candy kiss I was like 'oh no, scripted kisses solely to entertain the audience' but when I actually watched the scene and when they pulled apart with his shock expression of 'did I just did that?" and her shock expression of 'did he just kiss me?" and she don't know how response, so she pretends to faint lollllllllll that was so sweet, smart and cute all together while as believable to me. I am enjoying this drama a lot but am afraid to see the next two episodes to prepare myself for heartbreak…… because once you are invested into the characters, their pains are yours :(
He was also shocked at what he did. He fell in deep but didn't realize it yet but his action speaks louder than word as he acted before thinking lol FL reaction was priceless but sooooo adorable!

Yes, it was soooo funny when he made that up to throw them off about someone looking like him but at the end, when it was revealed that he really did had a brother that cared for him a lot...it was bittersweet. To a certain level, he may unconsciously suggested the brother story because he did had one :(
Why is this drama so hard to get over?! I tried to start sooooooo many other dramas and I just can't focus - Therefore, it seems like I won't be getting over this drama until CY's next drama is release (hopefully SWKMM soon?)

I believe the reason this drama is worthy of 9.0 is because of the uniqueness of LLH's character. Instead of the 'typical' act of revenge or reviving his power, he chose a different way of living. How many ppl would choose to let go of their glory when they reached the very top or choose to forgive when they are wronged/betrayed... but if you learn to let all of those go and concentrate on living your life out day by day...isn't that another happy way of living? Everyone have a choice of how they want to live, in the drama, everyone view LXY/LLH a certain way or expect him to be a certain way but at the end of the day, he simply want to live out his life as he wanted. That's why even though you may feel sad about his ending, in a way it is still acceptable for some audience because this is his choice, and he is not sad.
DFS is such a bad ass in ep 30-31. Loved every moments that he's on screen. And can someone give Cheng Yi an outstanding…
I keep giving FDB thumbs up in the latest episodes, when he figured out LLH lies, his detective instinct in figuring out the truth, and his understanding of LXY's fault (LLH is being too hard on LXY again) And I wanted to hug him when he hugged his dad. CY's performance is amazing when he saw his senior brother - his expression/emotion was spot on!

Yes, it always amazes me how he can bring the feeling of the characters to life. It makes you as the audience not only watching the characters/stories but to feel what the character is feeling - like he is really LLH and not acting as LLH.

Unlike dramas that gets draggy in the midway, I can say that it just gets better and better, I am hooked now on the new episodes and impatiently waiting for more - the pacing of this drama is pretty good

Yes, agreed he is the most hated character for me, but what I can't stand the most is that nothing, absolutely nothing happened to him, and he continues to be a master. Those use to call 'friends' of LXY, simply said he was seduced by the evil lady. We are talking about the worst poison in the world, not a simple knock out drug - they all forgive him like that??? It is really sad and how LLH must feel, knowing his so called 'friends' in the past, one is all well after poisoning him, one is with his old girlfriend and want him dead, and all of them is pretty settled that he is dead (or refused to consider him alive) vs all his enemies (including that monk that only saw him once) recognized him right off the bat???? I feel so sorry for LXY!!!

the heaven realm is so useless... they literality all depend on Youqin to save the world. When he was alone in the hole to seal it, I thought why won't they let more people to help him, they can't have cultivate more deity to assist him but no, it all fall on his shoulder because he was the only willing one to sacrifice and he even have to plan for the defense to the demon world attack. It's like he is the only person working in this whole realm. At that point, I felt so bad for him. Everyone treat it like it is his responsibility, like it is the matter of fact, but no one gave him a choice or treat him like a normal human being. When I learned that he had to seal away his fear - my heart hurt for him. It is ok to fear death like a human being. Only the FL treat him as human and no wonder he would fall for her. Can't wait to continue watching this...
