I don’t think they’ve started filming yet? I believe they recently just started workshops. Probably the series will be in December or January.

My mind is conflicted… I’m sad Mike is dropping out but am happy Gawin is finally getting a lead role he deserves. I’m not too sure if Krist would suit Gawin as a BL partner and would prefer seeing Podd and him together again, but we’ll just have to see.

This has to be one of the cutest series I’ve seen. I wish it was longer! I feel like there’s an episode in between I missed though. All of a sudden Ray and Ah Jian are together, not complaining though lol.

They acting from the MLs is on another level. It’s like a well written play in the form of a series. After watching all the light-hearted, romcom series airing rn it’s refreshing to watch one that has such maturity and more complex characters.

Ikr they didn’t deserve to be in such a controversial season in the end. They are too precious.

Yeah it’s a really tough and a sensitive subject when it comes to cultural appropriation isn’t it.

I understand that. I’m Asian myself (Filipino born and raised in the States) so I can’t relate to not knowing cultural appropriation and offenses. Myself as well as so many international viewers were just so shocked to see black face being done so happily and casually in this modern era of social media being so big and vocal of these racial issues. It makes me sad that people still today had to learn and be educated about how wrong and offensive blackface is from an article even.

People who don’t understand why international viewers were so upset with them painting their faces black, wearing afros, and then laughing about it please do educate yourselves on “black face” and it’s roots because there are many international viewers who are people of color that were definitely offended.

I love all the cameos in the series and even look forward to seeing who will cameo next. I love mix was a vet in the episode! For those who don’t know he’s studying to be a vet irl.

Wow I am kind of shocked and so disappointed that I just witnessed the cast do black face and it was even laughed at. That was just all sorts of wrong, how was that allowed! This is 2022 does Thai society not teach how wrong that was?

This season hit an all time low and there are no excuses for what happened.

Noeul it’s not easy to pull off those kind of expressions for NC scenes but he did it so well.

I think one of the main reasons The Eclipse isn’t as popular as other series airing right now is the genre. Not everyone wants a series that deals with with serious topics about injustice in society or anything political. Some may prefer light-hearted romcoms or something more mature.

Many are tired of the school setting already (not gonna lie I lean towards this way at times). GMMTV will never give a mature series like KinnPorsche that set the standards pretty high with uncut NC scenes. So series may feel a bit lackluster from GMMTV because a lot of BL fans want more than just a kiss nowadays.

I’m loving The Eclipse though! One of my faves airing this season. I’ve been quite invested with FirstKhao as a pairing.
