Myself as well as so many international viewers were just so shocked to see black face being done so happily and casually in this modern era of social media being so big and vocal of these racial issues. I think one of the main reasons The Eclipse isnāt as popular as other series airing right now is the genre. Not everyone wants a series that deals with with serious topics about injustice in society or anything political. Some may prefer light-hearted romcoms or something more mature.
Many are tired of the school setting already (not gonna lie I lean towards this way at times). GMMTV will never give a mature series like KinnPorsche that set the standards pretty high with uncut NC scenes. So series may feel a bit lackluster from GMMTV because a lot of BL fans want more than just a kiss nowadays.

I have to say that was one of the best, well done NC scenes Iāve seen for a BL series. Itās not something easy to pull off at all but Boss and Noeul were able to because of the trust they probably have with each other and their acting skills. In addition the directing and cinematography made the scene very sensual and romantic.
