S. Korea has been making pretty grim yet intriguing dramas lately. I feel I need to watch a funny light-hearted one again like Hometown Cha Cha Cha lol. The last episode definitely was the best and had a lot of depth. For a moment I thought it was Yoo Ah In that was gonna somehow come back. He usually chooses dramas that are not very easy to understand or have a more complex storyline. A great actor though for the episodes he was in. Overall something to binge if you are more of a fan of the horror/ thriller genres like Sweet Home, Squid Game, My Name.
I knew Nanon would be great for this series, even if this is his first BL series. Such a good actor. I felt Pran’s pain when Pat said he liked Ink. Pran has most likely been feeling their feelings could be mutual because of Pat’s flirting and kindness towards him, but it was mixed signals. The preview though for next week seems to show Pat realizing he’s confusing his feelings for Pran with Ink. It’s understandable that Pat will think he likes Ink (even though he’s obviously been infatuated with Pran since HS) because of his parents grooming him to be a tough, manly guy.
I wasn’t too familiar with A.C.E. before but I think I gotta stan them. Made a great OST for Light on Me, now even starring in a BL. Maybe even be main leads one day…
I’m enjoying this series so far but Pat’s group of friends are irritating and the worst… I liked Drake in 1000 Stars and even 2Gether, but here not so much.
The acting, directing, and cinematography wasn’t the issue, it was the pacing of the story. This series has a lot of potential but fell flat in the end. I mean it’s a relaxing watch if you need something to binge.
