Article How I met Asian dramas^^
My journey was very similar to yours. I was really into anime and then manga in the late 90's and early 00's. I found live action versions of my fav mangas. It was so long ago that the order may not be right, but the Tawainese Hana Kimi, Hana Yori Dango, Yamago Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. I watched Tdramas and Jdramas before watching my first Kdrama which was My Lovely Sam Soon. This was right around when legal streaming services started which had mostly kdramas and tdramas. So I watched mostly those for years. I recently in the last 2/3 yrs started watching cdramas
