Sorry, I know I keep taking up your messages today. ;) I JUST now finished this drama (only because I wanted to see how the adaptation compared to the Wang Nan version). Your review is very good and half-glass full. You really did a great job pointing out the good parts (and they were!). After I was finished, ALL I could think was, this was one of the most boring dramas I've EVER seen. Haha. But, thinking positively... I did love that the leads had a supportive, committed relationship and were SUPER kind to each other. I just wish they had more charisma /personality as characters (or actors?). Although, like you mentioned, when FL said "die another day" to her ex, that was awesome. 😄

Lol. True! Watching all that intense craziness needs to be vented. 😉 But that is such a good point... Since many verticals lack information, ESPECIALLY a good synopsis, I REEEALLY appreciate being able to read viewer's opinions. And weirdly, spoilers never bother me because I'm MORE afraid of wasting time on a drama that I wish I could have skipped.

Ah, yes, that is so true. Everything you said is spot on. I actually tend to write a lot of spoilers probably, and not helpful stuff. :/ I should pay more attention to that also.
Raiana, I really like your review. 😍. I agree, I wanted the ML to wear something casual instead of a suit at the tent. I've noticed C-dramas doing that A LOT at camping scenes, even going hiking in business clothes and the FL wearing high heels. WHY? Lol. That would be so uncomfy. Anyway... I love your mention of the Spiderman scene. That was so cute.

Yeah, I agree. Han Jiahui did do a good job, and Wang Zilin, too. I should have commented on that stuff. The drama is made well and acting is good. Its just that the story itself is too depressing and sad, with no character growth for leads. 😔 I felt deflated 💔 after watching it.

He would even help her if she let him. Instead, she uses him like a tool over and OVER, and the guy is SO lovesick, he keeps falling for it. They have good chemistry but only the ML is truly in love. Even at the end, the FL quietly abandons him, leaving a note. The ending is OPEN, with the ML holding back tears, driving his convertible on a mad search for her, saying to himself that he won’t let go of her. (I wanted him to give her up and find a new love)."
