Yeah, I agree. Han Jiahui did do a good job, and Wang Zilin, too. I should have commented on that stuff. The drama is made well and acting is good. Its just that the story itself is too depressing and sad, with no character growth for leads. 😔 I felt deflated 💔 after watching it.

Hey Ember. Personally, I didn't like it. This was the review I wrote to myself in my notes:

"I don’t like this kind of drama with manipulations and coldness by either lead, in this case the FL. Revenge is more important to her than loving and trusting the ML. He would even help her if she let him. Instead, she uses him like a tool over and OVER, and the guy is SO lovesick, he keeps falling for it. They have good chemistry but only the ML is truly in love. Even at the end, the FL quietly abandons him, leaving a note. The ending is OPEN, with the ML holding back tears, driving his convertible on a mad search for her, saying to himself that he won’t let go of her. (I wanted him to give her up and find a new love)."
