Yes the doctor is missing something cause he’s an emergency doctor,and what is wrong with him need a psychiatrist,since he doesn’t show much symptoms at the hospital the doctor might mot want to call the psychiatrist,you saw him getting scared of needles 😂😂…..by episode 2 or more I know they will shed more light on that
