Started off so strong then fell off
Season two was definitely better than season one in a lot of ways. The season started off really strong with its writing and plot. The first nine episodes were actually pretty good. The episodes felt like the writers had a sense for where they wanted the show to go...then episode ten came. Once the show got to the double digits, it's like they forgot how to write all over again. They tried to fit way too much into the finale and just didn't give characters what they should've.
KimKenta were the best thing about this season BY FAR and I think they did them so dirty with how little screentime they got together and not ending up together. Justice for them. I need another show with their actors together immediately.
Chris was the next best thing about this season. He had one of the most interesting storylines and had me curious the whole time. I liked his relationship with Pete as well.
Third best thing was Willy. I loved his character so much and man is the hottest person on this show. I was very happy with the introduction of his character in this season.
I did like Jeff and Alan's relationship for the most part too, though they both annoyed me a couple times. Overall, I think they have one of the healthiest relationships in the show and am really happy they got married in the end.
They completely ruined Sonic and Norths characters and relationships for me this season. They both annoyed me and their getting together was so unsatisfying and boring. That kiss too...I know we didn't wait all this time for a bad kiss like that.
Finally for Charlie and Babe...oof. I've never liked Babe and this season further proved that. I liked Charlie last season, but they ruined his character for me this season too. This season made me hate their relationship more than I already did and I didn't think that was possible. Babe just sucks. Period. Charlie just seemed to be so different from season one. Their relationship is so toxic, I need them to break up.
All this being said, I love this show. It's stupid, bad, and super cringe in a lot of moments, but it's so fun to watch. The spice is fantastic. The actors all have great chemistry together, so even if you hate their pairing, it's enjoyable to watch. Like I said for season one, you just can't take this show too seriously and you'll have fun.
